That was the most fabulous bit, where they were facing each other at the steps.

Thought he looked just like Captain Von Trapp (Sound of Music) in the suit he wore for the duet with Rolando! :wub:

I loved the fact that Darius got a different stage suit every time Bernie got a new frock.

 

There are so many great leads that Darius would be perfect for.

 

However if/when he goes back to MT, I'd like to see him move away from the romantic, roguish charmer and tackle something with more grit or go the other way and take on a comedic role. To me Rhett was the pinnacle of that character type.

 

OT Lee Mead is going to take over as Fiyero in Wicked. Isn't he a bit old for that role?

yup, I didnt take too much notice of the quartet, sounded like a cats chorus to me,

 

on the rerun I did laugh at Danny, if ever someone looked as if they wanted to be somewhere else..LOL

 

it was nice to see Lemar supporting Dairus, I seem to recall he said Darius was a star and had met him during fame academy,

only noticed Jacqui on the rerun...I suppose she knows the family well, perhaps she wants a second bite of the apple...

 

 

You know Darius. They're friends. They met again at that thing recently. He probably said she'd be welcome as a Guest of Darius ( Harry Hill joke!) if she wanted to come to the final.

 

The last thing Darius needs right now is a relationship to tie him down.

 

I agree with you both Baytree and Prettyinpink, about Jacqui, Darius is such a great guy and he would have appratied her support last night, I do think it would be too soon for him to be in relationhsip the now, but hey it's Darius life and he will do what it right for him.

I dont think she was there as anything but a good friend, but if he ended the relationship..I just meant she may still hold a candle to him, god I do and I dont even know him..LOL

Thank you. Bit harsh on KJ maybe but otherwise fair comment, I think.

you'd be suprised how harsh they can be on KJ, she for some reason is much disliked by some of these opera officiardos, but then they seem to have it in for an awful lot of cross over artists

It's because journos and other commentator/presenter types keep calling her an opera singer.

 

Apparently only those who've actually been in a staged opera can call themselves that. To be fair to KJ, she herself never does.
