Dave was talking to some people today. They'd watched pstos. They liked Darius in week one - baritone pstos was well received but the vt and judges comments put them off for the rest of the weeks. The final week they thought he was by far the best, nothing to put them of him. It shows how much these things affected people who view - not including us of course.

 

edited to say thnat Dave put them right about the other weeks. It's lovely having a husband to stand up for darius for me.

I agree, i was worried by LLBs talk of the language mistakes, until people told me otherwise!!

Mum's friends all believed what they were told in the vt and by the judges. Pop stars over again.

Even though Kym got through to being in Hear'say I don't think there was any love lost between her and Nigel Lythgoe because he told her she needed to lose weight and that she was fat so I don't think she would have been on Nigel's side

She certainly didn't seem to like Darius - weird because in popstars she really did.

Yet KYM was the one who turned against Darius in the early Hear'say press conferences, when the media output on him was negative for a while. I think she just says whatever she thinks the popular opinion might be.

 

She never really seemed warm to Myleene either in PSTOS and yet they're said to be friends.

Yes but before they were going to be in a group so they weren't so up against each other - she probably fancied her chances of winning and it was going to be an individual to win on PSTOS

There's a report that she's being interviewed by Piers Morgan. I'm not sure if it's this series though.

I was just watching the final VT intro for darius and it's very telling.

 

They could not find a single positive comment from the shows to illustrate Toreador or Granada.

 

They had to use one of Katherine & Rolando behind scenes talking about his performance and Rolando speaking about the strength of a direct look to camera. For Granada they added a voice over a new comment from Laurence about his silky baritone and moved LL-B's comment about NPA to cover Granada.

 

They had absolutely no problem, other than choosing which to use from the host of them, for Bernie.

:thinking: how telling is that, I think all of them had gushing comments they could have used in a final...for worse performances!

Katherine jenkins in on alan titchmarsh next week, wonder what she will have to say, will she mention PSTOS and D as both she and alan were part of it.

She'll be talking about the release of Believe in the US and her tour which begins in March, I would think.
