I cannot see D surviving a bottom 2 vote, however wonderful and above the rest he was. We will just have to vote and stop that eventuality!

 

Not happy with Rolando this week. Darius is playing the game, well that's an F ing shock! So is everyone else on the poxy show, it's just that they all get support from the judges and D unfortunately just doesn't seem to. Even the "brilliant" comment from Katherine seemed extremely reserved :(

Hope he hasn't peaked too soon though :unsure: If they want him out, they might well give him something hopeless to sing. Jesus, it's frustrating how much power people on shows like this have to weild over the contestants! Force them to sing out of range, show clips of less than flattering moments etc! Imagine how awful it would have been if D had signed with Cowell way back :o We might not be seeing about now if he had.

 

Whatever happens here, I am delighted D is the person he is, and won't let himself be rail roaded in life.

 

Yes with Danny out, he's likely to pick up some. It's possibly why he is following so many McFly fans on Twitter, but not many D fans :rolleyes: Oh well!

 

I feel it's got to be a male female final. Kym must go out next week and if 2 are going, then I would guess Marcella will leave too, though not necessarily because Bernie is better than her.

So pleased with that result. Danny should have gone last week I think. It would have been an injustice if Marcella has gone.

The difference is in the quality of both singing and performance. D is able to use a lot that he has gained from

previous experience in the musicals, plus he has the advantage of a great voice.

Poor Cyrus looked pale with nerves, but for his age he did very well in the clip. But didn't see Aria this week.

I have to admit to hiding in girls bedroom for the results, youngest had to come up and tell me, its ok mum, darius is through

Wasn't Darius excellent tonight!! I thought it was the right bottom two - although Marcella has been 'spot on' in previous weeks I thought she was the worst tonight, I just didn't enjoy her performance of 'Ave Maria' at all!.

 

Did anyone else have trouble voting? I managed 10 votes but from then on only got the 'engaged' signal - I was praying that all the people getting through were voting for Darius.... and it seems a lot of them were :cheer:

 

They have been saying over on DS that two people will go out next week leaving only two for the final (male and female would be good :D ) and that they will sing a duet with the mentors - maybe that is why D would love to sing a duet with Katherine!

 

We now have to look forward to going through all this again next week.... it's exhausting, isn't it!! :lol:

How is the voting done next week? If 2 are leaving will that be on public votes only, the 2 with the least votes. If it's all down to the judges, I feel only KJ might save him.

How could Rolando vote Danny tonight over Marcella, and as for Meatloat and LLB, they are like 2 silly schoolboys who try to out do each other for attention!

Kym is allowed to cry, Bernie is allowed to mention her mother, but Darius, no, it's all an act in his case. Makes me so cross!

If Darius had been weaker, B.P., we'd have voted more. I know I did during ABBA week on PI when the song just didn't suit him and on Big Band Night when the judges' spat could have been detrimental.

 

Many of the McFly fans genuinely don't like Darius's deep voice so they think he should have gone out instead of Danny. They thought he should have been bottom two last week as well. Of course they're deeply saddened.

 

Why are they so reluctant to give darius any even playing field?

 

Danny had a whole chorus of singers. You'd think they could have spared one for Darius to sing his aria to. Instead he gets a mirror and chair! just as well he has all that West End experience and Trevor Nunn made him improvise.

 

 

Just watched it again and the judges reaction to the bottom two especially rolando and catherine appeared they werent happy.
