March 7, 201015 yr 9lYA7xhDDEY It's hilarious how tragic this is, what's with the spoken vocals from a backing singer in parts. And the falsetto part - :puke:
March 7, 201015 yr Author Song is called "Lost and Forgotten"? That's what will happen to it in the semi-final then :kink: Yes, we had a taste of Russia's demise last year - but not Ukraine's. Ukraine was excellent last year in the final version
March 7, 201015 yr I meant demise as in how their positions are slowly falling having had numerous years of top 3 domination it happens to the best of us[/midcefsrrontviakopecka] :snif:
March 7, 201015 yr Author Some songs are just terrible. At least this is funny terrible As usual, the curse of last year's host. Finland sent rubbish in 2008, as did Serbia in 2009, and just like Russia have done this year.
March 7, 201015 yr Babushki finished third  I thought we'd get the winner decided by the jury from the Top 3 as last year so i was still hopeful that they'd win. But they announced THAT $h!t'd won. Devastated isn't the word. Russia is uber stupid. I'm moving to UK Oh wait... Scooch, Cry Cry Baby and Andy... Sweden all the way :kink:
March 7, 201015 yr Author I meant demise as in how their positions are slowly falling having had numerous years of top 3 domination it happens to the best of us[/midcefsrrontviakopecka] :snif: Then surely with the demise of Russia & Ukraine should come the rise of countries who had numerous years of rubbish results UK :w00t:
March 9, 201015 yr Author In an interview with Peter, he expects to win, "otherwise, why enter the contest? We expect that Europe will vote for us. I think we have a good song". Oh, how disappointed he shall be :kink:
March 9, 201015 yr In an interview with Peter, he expects to win, "otherwise, why enter the contest? We expect that Europe will vote for us. I think we have a good song". Oh, how disappointed he shall be :kink: Aaaaw  how cute ^_^ He is gonna be so disappointed  :kink:
March 9, 201015 yr Author Aaaaw  how cute ^_^ He is gonna be so disappointed  :kink: If he qualifies, I might send him a sympathy vote :P
March 9, 201015 yr If he qualifies, I might send him a sympathy vote :P I'm not gonna vote this year :P I've already used 1600 NOK on this :cheer: :P
March 9, 201015 yr I would not be surprised to see Russia going through on neighbourly support, but he has no hope in the final. However, the thing I'm finding with this song is it's so bad it's strangely good. Unlike Ukraine's entry which is completely unlistenable.
March 9, 201015 yr The only people I see voting for this crap are the Belorussians. Might get a few points from Estonia and Latvia thanks to the Russian diaspora, but nothing more. Surely the juries won't vote for this? Edited March 9, 201015 yr by Cal
March 9, 201015 yr I would not be surprised to see Russia going through on neighbourly support, but he has no hope in the final. However, the thing I'm finding with this song is it's so bad it's strangely good. Unlike Ukraine's entry which is completely unlistenable. Both are absolutely dire, but Russia's is a tiny bit better because it makes me laugh (which I'm sure wasn't the desired effect ), whereas the Ukrainian entry is an abomination, there is nothing remotely funny about how bad it is, he has the worst voice I've ever come across in Eurovision, bar none. Probably my least favourite entry of all time in fact. What makes it even worse is that usually entries that I despise are novelty songs where I don't get the joke, or Balkan dad rock, but this is a genre that I usually like and he's managed to make the worst song possible from it. Appalling
March 9, 201015 yr One of my best Uni mates told this song is actually the best of what our NF had. I'm so not talking to him now -_- :kink: I also push him step by step to listening the Finnish song, creating the huge hype around it :heehee: I sincerely hope we won't see Russia going through to the final this year! We need to realise that it's a song, not a bloody neighbourly/whose-diaspora-is-bigger contest :(
