I don't like it... I don't remember the song, and when I listen to it again.. it's always 'new' for me.. so it don't grow either :P

But it's basically My Heart Is Yours except for a woman singing it and a better chord progression?

Oh dear. :heehee:

We know it's patriotism blah blah but this is really silly to deny that.

'Insomniacs CD, featuring songs like 'I can't remember the name of the song cause it's so boring but it's norways entry to eurovision this year', 'Lost and Forgotten', and 'Narodno Zabavni Rock'

:kink:

There was a misprint on the cd case :kink:

One thing I can agree on, It's for you is nothing like that lullaby! :(

It's for you has real emotion in it  Norway's song is an empty shell

No it's not :P

and it's funny that people think I love it because of Eurovision :P remember.. it's not my #1 favorite :P

It's my #2 or #3 :)

People are entitled to have different opinions! I think they're both You Raise Me Up influenced to say the least but I love them both anyway so I'm not exactly bothered. I wouldn't call My Heart Is Yours an 'empty shell', it's a competent dramatic ballad, it's just that Niamh's has more traditional production whereas Didrik's is more of an 'X Factor winner's single type production'. But his voice is more than strong enough to carry it.

Exactly people are entitled to have different opinions.........maybe empty shell was a bit harsh but the song just doesn't do anything for me :(

What I do think though, is that it's just a tad odd to deny all similarities
Didrik's beginning to grow on me, but I still prefer Niamh. I just prefer ballads to be sung by women though in general...

Have basically the same chord progression, can virtually be sung over each other in the chorus etc...:P

Nonsense, you hate most songs I like! What you mean is you're bad at hatin' songs christened with the Eurovision name :heehee: this defines a Eurovision loon, because some of these songs are TRAGEDIES. I wonder how you'd rate some of my BJSC entries that you hated if they'd been sent to Eurovision? :heehee:
