i always had a record player but bought a new one last year,it was quite expensive but great to have,i love vinyl

it's sound a little diff when u play music from a vinyl instead of a cd.

BETTER SOUND I THINK

the songs get a more classical sound that way. it's not perfect but that's the charm.

haven't played a vinyl in ages. used to play em all the time when i was younger but that was before the cd player was introduced.

Growing up, my mum used to play the Falling Into You album in the car (i'm now 19 but was around 9 at the time! lol) but i never really took notice of the singer but i loved the songs!

 

The time i saw or heard of Celine was on "Tell Him" with Barbra Streisand. I really liked that song! Then came My Heart Will Go On which again i loved!

 

Then i never heard from her again until A New Day.... and after I heard I'm Alive i bought the AND album and bought them all since! haha!

think twice made me but my first celine album

I don't know if I posted this yet or not, but it was It's All Coming Back To Me Now.

The first Celine song I heard was 'Where Does My Heart Beat Now' - it got a lot of radio airplay here when it was a new release.I went and bought the cassette single and loved it's B Side too.

Then she seemed to disappear.lol.I didn't hear a follow up single on the radio.Could not find an album in shops.

Didn't expect to hear of her ever again,and then one day ( a year or two later?) I bought 'Last To Know' 7'' vinyl at a carboot sale,and then I went to another county many miles from where I live , found an independant music shop and it had two Celine cassette albums - 'Unison' and 'Celine Dion' ,so i bought them both,and they're both fab ! They got played daily.

 

Since then ,I switched to cd and only have the following cd albums so far :

 

'Celine Dion'

'The Color Of My Love'

'Falling Into You'

 

I keep meaning to buy 'Unison' on cd as that's my fave Celine album.

Not that familiar with all her other stuff,except for the Titanic song.
