What's wrong with season 5?

Nothing wot

I guess the 'fresh' factor has worn off so it's getting harder to impress me now

UM, having decided to try this out on a whim and knowing nothing about it before, I ended up watching the whole of Season 1 today and the first two episodes of S2. I think I've found a new addiction.

SNAP. I'm a few episodes into S2 also.

I just love the witty/dry humour which US comedy rarely gets spot on, but manages perfectly here . And Leslie is just TOO adorable for words

'It's what makes America great... and England ok and France terrible.'

haha one of the best episodes of the series I think!

After five seasons its in that place where it will remain good, sometimes amazing, sometimes a bit meh, until the final season.

I don't think it's ever meh, we're just used to amazing and a good episode might feel bad when it's not.

I'm going at BBC4 Pace at the moment and suffice to say I think it's brilliant. One of two contemporary American sitcoms I'd happily buy the box set of (the other on being Modern Family).

^ UK DVDs aren't released yet unfort. I think they're timing them with the BBC4 programming, so it will be a while until we can get our hands on them all :(

I just watched the Hugo Chavez episode (Se2Ep5) BEST. EPISODE. YET. (and not just for the Lady Gaga mention)

Agree with this. I constantly enjoy it every episode, even if it is a little more average. It hasn't quite reached its comedic highs of seasons 2-3 but it gets close. Still my favorite show on TV along with Game of Thrones.

I watched the pilot episode earlier from the BBC4 broadcast, and although it took a while to get going, I rather enjoyed it! Amy Poehler was of course amazing, and I really liked Rashida Jones and Chris Pratt too. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I like the mockumentary style. At half way through, I was considering whether to watch another episode, but I think I'll keep going with it - could anybody tell me which are the best seasons for if I get to the end and want to watch more? :P

So I've finally finished series 1 (series 2 starts next Wednesday on BBC4!) and I really enjoyed it! I guessed that the pilot would be a lot more uptight, and I was right. The rest were really funny and the conclusion was fitting. I'm looking forward to next week's now :D

Little irritating that BBC4 is airing the 2nd and 3rd episodes the wrong way round :(

I watched them the right way round after having them recorded and read on Wiki that they were originally intended to air 1-3-2 but swapped last minute.

Edited by THEO.

I don't think there's a universe in which changing the order, that the American show was aired in the US in, when airing the same show in the UK is a good/LOGICAL idea.

Hmm, I'm almost halfway through season 3. I'm running out of episodes too fast. Started only a week ago what even!

(can't believe BBC4 are only just airing this now, this is the first time they've aired them right?)

was 30 rock ever broadcast in the UK tho?

Channel 5, then no one cared. Now on Comedy Central, still no one cares.

The Season 1 DVD, in Region 2 (i.e. our region), will be released on April 1st. It is currently on Amazon for just £9!

It's incredibly tempting at that price, even though I have all the Region 1 DVDs.
