Apart from the recaps being far from completition, I'm trying to be this time. I realise this is probably the last time I'll host, so I'm trying to make it a good one.

 

Sorry you're not pleased with your semi, you should snuck me a few quid before and I'd have done something about it.

I didn't know Anna Maria was going to be in Melodivison until very recently :o

 

I found her myself a good few weeks beforehand. Hope she can do well for Dalisska :)

I have a separate link for the AQers. I started uploading one of the semis without them last night and - as you can see - I was already up late enough, without starting over again.

They seem well balance, but I'd say your semi is slightly more indie filled. I suppose being one of the few pure pop entries in your semi could help? :lol:

Well I sort of decided that Poland was picking a bit late for it to be a fair entry. Perhaps if I'd messed with my dates and brought the semis forward I'd have considered waiting.

I'll send my votes shortly, I've listened to everything twice in my semi, some songs more - it wasn't outstanding if I'm honest, despite the originality it's been a long time since I had to resort to giving points to 8/10's :heehee: however, I did enjoy the majority of the songs to some extent - my rankings were;

very very varied selection of songs though, not like the usual parade of female solo generic electropop and nothing else (although that was on offer!)

I was looking forward to helping Sufjan Stevens, Feist, Joanna Newsom, The Drums, and Beach House get through their semi. :( Guh, how am I not in the semi with literally any of my favorites? There are some chooonzzz though don't get me wrong. Good contest. I just hope those 5 get through.
