Many are in Top10 now but have physicals out next week. In addition there is releases from Leona, Chipmonk, Sugababes and several more.

I think this 'Death Week' hype is ridiculous. It will be far less effective than 'Diva Day' - where all failed to get to #1.

 

Rihanna will barely benefit from a physical release, Leona won't be troubling the top position, Sugababes definitely won't be. I think it will remain static in the top 10 bar minor movements.

 

 

The Top 10 is going to be well messy next week, or should say top 15, there is a lot going on.

Yeah but SIX a lot of songs will make top 20/15 at least out of the NEW releases..like jason derulo, chipmunk, sugababes etc..

Yeah but that will be next week. By then she'll probably be pushed down and lose momentum. All those promo slots (aren't there 2?) will probably just push her back up to #6/7.

not surprising considering it's "TV influenced" is it? I wonder if anybody in this country actually discovers music now by going to gigs/listening to bands on Myspace or they just wait for it to come on the TV?

I think Owl's second version has a pop bar bigger than Timbo's other 3 versions combined, but obviously we can't tell because 2 of Timbo's versions aren't top 100.

I think you mis-interpret the charts here. There are plenty of tunes that don't make the higher positions of the charts but are discovered over time and sell gradually, exceeding the sort of sales that you see from Florence+Dizzee over the next few days. The reason for the Florence/Dizzee mashup charting high is that many discovered it at once, as it didn't exist before and therfore wasn't available to buy over time.
