Posted February 21, 201015 yr http://i48.tinypic.com/2dtzkly.jpg Heyho! Welcome to this week's dose of Hot 40 action. Made up of sales, airplay, and multichart data, this chart should represent fairly accurately what is popular here on Buzzjack and indeed in the rest of the country. It's an extremely close battle this week between current number one Owl City, as well as Alicia Keys and Timbaland. Let's see how this week's chart looks. Asterisks are bullets, which are given to songs on their way "up" the chart, just in case you're wondering! This week / Last week / Artist - Song (Peak) (Weeks) 1 1 Owl City – Fireflies (4x1) (6) 2 2 Timbaland feat. Katy Perry – If We Ever Meet Again (2) (4) 3 3 Alicia Keys – Empire State Of Mind Part II (3) (7) 4 4 JLS – One Shot (4) (6) 5 11 Helping Haiti – Everybody Hurts* (5) (3) 6 7 Lady GaGa – Bad Romance (6x1) (18) 7 5 3Oh!3 feat. None of the top three have bullets though, meaning they've all pretty much peaked, so it should be interesting to see what happens up there in the coming weeks. Maybe Timbaland or Alicia Keys can sneak a week at number one before the big new songs start climbing. Big Brits climbers from Florence, Jay-Z and Alicia, and Cheryl Cole, all of whom have been given a second (or in Florence's case, third) lease of chart life by the ceremony. The highest new entry comes from Lemar, and the second highest is from Florence and Dizzee. It should be interesting to see how far the live recording released off the back of the Brits can go with airplay and multichart. Finally, Robbie Williams manages to get a re-entry with You Know Me, despite it not actually being performed at the Brits! If airplay data is anything to go by, we should be expecting his new single, Morning Sun to chart next week. That's all for this week, apart from a few Youtube videos just coming up. Other than that, have a good week everyone, and we'll see you back here next week!

February 21, 201015 yr Thanks Peter! Not sure who will be number one next week, I don't think it will be one of the new releases now. Frankly it could be Owl City again tbh...
February 21, 201015 yr Yay, Owl City :w00t: Peak should be 5x1 should it not? Owl remains #1 because Owl and Timbo are non-movers at 1/4 and 5/1 in airplay and multichart, but Owl remains 1 ahead in sales.
