Thanks BT.

So glad he's doing well.

loved this bit:

But then, an audition for ex Pop Idol Finalist, “Darius”, came along , I didn’t dream of getting the gig but somehow I did.

I think it’s really fair to say that “Darius” put me on the map. After touring with Darius one thing led to another.

Someone has just posted on Darius' facebook that they met him last night in Cape Town. I wonder what he's doing there?
Would sooooo love to see Karl, Steve, Demi and the others back with Darius again one day, that would be really Fab!

Great memories but the band members have all moved on. We're lucky however, we have them on video and can recall those times when we want - Rushes and Girl In The Moon.

I'm sure Darius said he was working with Pete and Demi on his 3rd album. I suppose it depends on what way he's going to go with it.

I think he might have to bend to what people are expecting - a more classical type album, so it depends what the songs he laid down already are like, whether they'd gel with that.

We know he has recorded with The Misfits for this album so I'd be surprised if some of their work isn't there.

A video????

He has posted on facebook, just got back from S.africa, spent time in the sun listening to the Sugarbabes album.
Yes I know, I noticed he had given them a plug before. Perhaps they will return the compliment.
That really was a quick trip! Daughter went there for a week at half term, and I thought it was along way then. Surely it must have been for business. It's a long way to go for a break of just a couple of days. Sue

under-wraps.......

I wouldn't mind but aren't these sugarbabes new ones...not that I care one way or the other...just wondered which sugarbabes he was talking about as they keep changing.

must be management related

It is the new ones, none are the original but Heidi is the longest serving nine years. One is jade ewen who came fifth for us in eurovision last year and now joined the sugarbabes.

I don't give a toss about the Sugababes' and their endless in-fighting and changing line-ups.

However, I suppose I should give a half cheer that Darius is still communicating.

Not really my sort of scene the Sugarbabes, and I'm a little surprised they seem to be D's :???:

I can't imagine him being forced to say good things about another group under the same umbrella (so to speak) so maybe he is enjoying their new music.

I would hate to think, that after all this time of being his own man, making and sticking to his own decisions, that he would now allow himself to be dictated to, as many other artists seem to be. I can't believe that will be the case though.

Sometimes, if you want to be successful, you have to play the game.

He's always liked the 'Sugarbabes', nothing to do with management.

I liked them until a couple of years ago. Again, nothing to do with management.

Thanks, megham.

I'm glad Darius had some company. It's not great to go to things like that on your own.

Hurlingham Club - I'm thinking "polo". I don't know why.
