Had a quick look a Russel watsons wikipedia. Has released singles and albums in both operatic and pop. Genre classical, pop rock, operatic pop.He has a huge amount of concerts coming up including one at Sandingham with Will Young one day and him another, only camiklla kerslake has been confirmed. Also similar at leeds, again some have other artistes to be confirmed. Will say that his main site is not his official but is certainly on the ball with the amount of dates etc for his appearances unlike Ds official site,.What is interesting his that he came to fame by singing at several football etc. finals at least four in all.I feel the mercedes benz show will be more classical/crossover pop than operatic.

I should think so with the line up they've announced. What's the link to Russel's sit, please Preston? It may be worth checking regularly to see if D is included on any of the dates.

Its Fab that Darius is doing this :D .I cant wiat to see him again, but i just want to see him on his own and not sharing the stage with other artists :) ............OMG cant wiat till he starts his tour!!! :yahoo:

Tickets are REALLY expensive and they've had 3 days of priority sales going out. It is very local for me though.

So everyone'll be hoping for good weather. Most of these things seem to get rain.

At the moment Ayr seems the best as he is alone virtually but that is even further. Do like Ayr though, visited there on holiday a few years ago but it is again too far for me but I would love to go. I wonder how it will do on the sunday as on the friday there are four X factior acts two of which have record contracts and strong fan bases.

I'd love to go to Ayr but I couldn't get home in time to put Mum to bed. It does sound more to my taste.

Thanks, I thought it might be outdoors. I was very tempted but it's such a long way, and then if it rainned husband would probably just divorce me! It does seem to rain a lot when Darius appears outdoors although I do remember seeing him in Huddersfield, at what was then The McAlpine Stadium, in the middle of a heat wave! Sue
