I'd just love him to be ultra successful have management who did tell us what he was booked to do and be appreciated for his talent.

Maybe it'll happen one day, but then I still believe in Father Christmas too

I'm waiting for the flying pigs.

quote meg - I'd just love him to be ultra successful have management who did tell us what he was booked to do and be appreciated for his talent. I have to admit this management appears gig wise to be very much more o n the ball though although it may have been his choice otherwise whilst in LA.

Now that he is on a roll (both song-writing and performing) I just hope he keeps the momentum going, and builds on it.
When has he ever done so in the past?
Just watched the x factor on repeat and saw the Darius comment Dermot made. U no wot i wud love D 2 go on the x factor 1 week, sing 1 of his new songs and then remind Dermot of the comment he made and make him feel guilty that wud b so gud.

Simon would never let Darius do the X Factor. He's got more x factor and more musicality in his little pinkie than the contestants or judges.

darius has indeed got more talent than any on there, i just watched some x factor youtube and they really arent even standout singers - and tbh being a performer is so much more than that. imo xfactor is just a genius program primarily to prey on people getting swept along by clever hype and buying into a marketed product with the best promo going..and to make sc and all those at the top richer

wierd how its been selling well else where, but manchester is dead..so big a population, perhaps there is something up against it on in manchester or no one is into big band there

According to a tweet Darius is appearing at the Christmas lights switch on at Kingston Upon Thames. The tweet was from one of the actors appearing at the Rose Theatre's Three Musketeers who is also appearing.

November 18th, apparently.

i have a vague memory at the back of my mind that a few journalists and djs of this area support a certain person who I believe appeared at party in the park type gigs there. - just appeared at the racecourse close here and the two radio stations are based in the area he attended uni. and he is played frequently I remember also when I saw Darius at Plymouth at a gig with girls aloud when he was at his pop peak he did n ot warrant a mention in our local paper That was the only gig D has done in the south west in the last ten years apart from Butlins at minehead. He did B ournemouth on his tour nd that was well attended. I believe someone said D did an interview with a manchester paper which was OK considering the journalist didnt like him. There must be a reason why certain areas appear no go.It is strange how some artistes do well in certain areas, I remember last year going to se Jane mcdonald in concert at Torquay and I was astounded, we had to fight our way through the foyer to get to our seats, there wasnt a seat in the place and she had many many standing ovations, she is perhaps not everyones cup of tea but she is extremely popular and that seems to be everywhere.
