This iconic country house is, of course, the Norfolk retreat of Her Majesty The Queen, and is set in 60 acres of stunning gardens, at the heart of the 20,000 acre Sandringham Estate. The pop pin-up will play on Saturday, 7 August 2010 and is expected to perform tracks from his four albums including hits Leave Right Now and All Time Love. "It's the first non-classical concert that's ever been staged at Sandringham, the staff there are very excited," said promoter Stewart Jones. Tickets for the gig go on sale at 9am on Friday 5 March. "We already know that customers are coming not just from Norfolk, but from Lancashire, Somerset and London," said Jones. "It's huge for Sandringham... It's one of the most famous stately homes in the country, you don't get much better," he added.
