Posted February 26, 201015 yr http://www.metro.co.uk/showbiz/815067-smit...es-haiti-single More than 23 acts - including Popstar To Operastar winner Darius Campbell, All Angels, Rhydian and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra - will head into the studio on February 27 to record David Foster's The Prayer, originally performed by Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion. Britain's Got Talent winner Paul said: "It was shocking to see the devastation that the earthquake brought to Haiti - it was inspiring to see among the pain and suffering hope against all odds." He continued: "I feel privileged to be asked to be part of bringing that hope to the people of Haiti through the classical single for Haiti." Faryl added: "It's a real honour to be a part of something that is being done for the first time, and I hope that all music lovers get involved and help raise money for the campaign. I really hope that we can make a difference together to help the horrible situation that Haiti is in at the moment." All proceeds from the single, which will be available to download from March 14, will go to the Disasters Emergency Committee, on behalf of the people of Haiti.
February 26, 201015 yr Oh thank you.....not quite the quick release I was thinking of but a very good cause and will certainly be buying it...or some :)

February 26, 201015 yr Celine Dion & Andrea Bocelli - The Prayer it's going to be interesting Edited February 26, 201015 yr by SpamFritter
February 26, 201015 yr Full list of artistes appearing - The full list of artists taking part are as follows (in alphabetical order): Aled Jones, All Angels, Blake, Bond, Camilla Kerslake,Charlie Siem, Dame Evelyn Glennie, Darius Campbell, Elysium, Faryl Smith, Gardar Thor Cortez, Julian Lloyd Webber, Julian Smith, Libera, Natasha Marsh, Only Men Aloud, Operababes, Paul Potts, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Rhydian, Sara Kempe, The Priests, Wynne Evans.
February 26, 201015 yr Apart from members of choirs or groups, Darius is the only bass baritone. I think Rhydian might be a tenor baritone. Wynne Evans is the GO COMPARE tenor!
February 27, 201015 yr Someone tweeted from Metropolis Studios about an hour ago and mentioned Darius among who'd arrived. So at least we know he got there on time. A recent tweet said Paul potts had taken to the mike so they must've started racording.
February 27, 201015 yr Thanks, pip. Is that Stephen Bowman, fellow bass baritone, next to D? Blake are a foursome aren't they? Is one missing or is he the one with his head cut off ?
February 27, 201015 yr I didn't realise they're filming it. Camilla Kerslake who was a guest with Gary Barlow on PSTOS is singing the National Anthem at Wembley on Sunday. Maybe she was nervous that night. I remember that, at the time, I found her less impressive than the girls on the show.
February 27, 201015 yr .......... is he the one with his head cut off ? That will make it difficult to sing :o
February 27, 201015 yr Lovely pictures here http://www.daylife.com/search/photos/1/grid?q=paul+potts They look like they're enjoying the day. You'll be relieved to see Blake intact and ready to sing, spam. Edited February 27, 201015 yr by Baytree
February 27, 201015 yr phew that's a relief thanks for the link awww...isn't Paul Potts small.......He'll have to stand next to me.... Darius having to slide down the wall to make himself smaller :)
February 27, 201015 yr Thanks the pictures are great but some funny. I noticed that Darius had his legs bent in the picture with Paul Potts on the right.Paul looks much bigger than I remember him.Rhydian was supposed to be there and men allowed.
February 27, 201015 yr I like the one in he middle of Paul and Darius where the caption says classical singers Paul Potts and Darius campbell, sounds good.
