In Capital FM`s daft wisdom, they were using a 50/50 airplay sales chart. Which was (and still is nonsense). MRIB`s compilation also used airplay, but it only used it on new entries/risers. This is where Independant Radio go wrong now. Airplay is used in falling songs, and slows the chart too much. In the falling sector of MRIB, songs going down the chart actually fell faster, because of the ruling airplay of new/rising stuff. Falling songs in the 31-75 part of the chart, for a number of consequetive weeks, were dropped from the chart totally. Don`t forget for the best Sunday Chart, join Jason Scott et moi...this Sunday at 4pm http://thesuperstation.info followed by the new releases & bubblers in the "Ones To Watch" between 7 & 8pm.
March 12, 201015 yr I hope Mumford & Sons climb a couple by Sunday - it's been top 30 on iTunes for a few days now.
March 13, 201015 yr The Top Physicals of the week 18 NE AGNES Is she out on singles? I thought this has been postponed/cancelled etc :o I knew the physicals chart was made up.
March 13, 201015 yr Thanks Dave! I was at Your Country Needs You tonight watching Pete Waterman and the "Great" British Public pick a mediocre singer and terrible song for Eurovision. Don't expect to see it in ANY of these charts anytime soon
March 13, 201015 yr I knew the physicals chart was made up. I'm guessing those couple of copies were imports and/or leaks before the single was cancelled. :D
March 13, 201015 yr I'm guessing those couple of copies were imports and/or leaks before the single was cancelled. :D Is it possible that they released it physically to try and get a buzz for it, and then will release it digitally soon?
March 13, 201015 yr Author I'm guessing those couple of copies were imports and/or leaks before the single was cancelled. :D Unfotunate mistake Ben. As on this print-out there are 2 nineteens, as listed Agnes/Alphabeat/Gaga/Marina. I guess Agnes was a print error, as there are the 2 A initials, and wasn`t it supposed to be On And On, for Agnes. I seem to have a title of On My Heart, surely some mistake! And not made up as our learned friend says!
March 13, 201015 yr Is it possible that they released it physically to try and get a buzz for it, and then will release it digitally soon? on the HMV site it says the title has been deleted, so I'm pretty sure it wasn't released.
March 13, 201015 yr Author on the HMV site it says the title has been deleted, so I'm pretty sure it wasn't released. I`ve amended the post Ben. You are right, the single never got released! A artist/title mix up by the team.
March 13, 201015 yr I`ve amended the post Ben. You are right, the single never got released! A artist/title mix up by the team. Thanks Dave, although it's shame Agnes won't be released now :(
