They didn't show it in the UK :(

How $h!t. They should have been made to show it.

I hope they just show it here later :( It's a joke, they showed 1hr of stupid coverage.

It was either a Zidane montage or Shakira - and they chose the montage - FOOLS!

I don't know - they might show a little bit of it on the news maybe.

What they should do is play the performance on the video channels so the Bamboo mix will get downloaded - that's the only way I could see them rectifying this situation - but I doubt that'd happen.

It wasn't shown on ITV1 wasn't it shown on BBC One either?

Oh well, suppose it was a football match not a music program! :P

Exactly. The people watching before the game began were people who wanted to watch the build-up, not Shakira

Shakira's performance was part of the build up though - it was the opening of the game. And I'm sure there are some people across the UK that would have rather seen Shakira in an orange bikini before the game rather than boring montage after boring montage.

Yeah I agree to be fair, I watched it to see a build up, and stuff about the football, not the closing ceremony.

You're clearly not a football fan and have no interest in it whatsoever... The match kicked off at 7pm GMT. The program started at 6pm. The people who wanted to just watch the match (me) put the tv on at 7. The people who wanted to watch the FOOTBALL build up, as in pre-match talk, predictions, inside the two teams training camps, watching clips of the BEST PLAYER OF THE LAST 20 YEARS, (not a "boring montage" ) etc switched their tv's on at the start of the program and din't expect their enjoyment of a FOOTBALL program to be ruined by a musical performance by someone they probably couldn't care less about...
