March 1, 201015 yr alanis morissette, she had what 2 top 10 songs ever. uninvited not getting released was shocking. sheryl crow nearly 20 years of catchy songs, yet no #1 tori amos, yep the pro widow dance mix went #1 but heck her real material is so much better.

March 1, 201015 yr tori amos, yep the pro widow dance mix went #1 but heck her real material is so much better. She hasn't released a proper single in 6 years and hasn't had a top 40 hit in nearly 12 years. It's not going to happen now. She has has such a well spread out list of chart positions 1 4 7 15 16 20 20 22 25 26 31 41 44 51
March 2, 201015 yr Bob Dylan. The man is a legend and he never had a UK n.1. "Like a rolling stone" which is number 1 on Rolling Stone list of "The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time" had only peaked at n.4 and "Lay Lady Lay" (amazing song) only at n.5. I know that at this time is so difficult for him to achieve a n.1, but it's such a shame that stupid songs can get to n.1 and artists like Bob Dylan no. i don't want to be mean but what's going on with the saturdays? They should have a n.1? come on people, you can do better than that
March 2, 201015 yr Red Hot Chili Peppers are definitely due for a #1, both the lead singles of their last two albums, By The Way in 2002 and Dani California in 2006 reached #2

March 2, 201015 yr Is it really Miley Cyrus inside Mr Blobby  :magic: I'd be worried if it was Mr Blobby in Miley Cyrus ... if ya know what I mean ;)
March 2, 201015 yr Why don't you just rename the thread "whats your favourite artist"? Agreed  Some of the acts being mentioned have already had a #1 single.
March 2, 201015 yr Agree with a lot of people saying Muse, Bloc Party, Killers, Amy Winehouse etc. I'd also say Radiohead definitely deserve a #1, and possibly Vampire Weekend in the future. And you never know, one year The Pogues might finally get there too.
