March 8, 201015 yr 1. He's the new David Gray :magic: 24. It's on my list, along with Salem's album and the MF compilation. I *might* look for Malena's album but if it's anything above the equivalent of £10 I won't bother as it's a good few months old now... 33. They usually win though! this definitely won't but it's a nice nod to the past - imagine if it won the jury vote (you know how much they loved Carola/Charlotte) 38. I loved They Can't Stop The Spring (not the dire live version though) but not as much as I like It's For You. The only other Irish entries that made my chart were Et Cetera and Love from 2005 () 46. I know  it seems to have finished, but not there's more...and then again! 50. Their 2009 entry never interested me, in fact I've never liked a Slovakian entry before now  24 - Let me know what it's like if/when you get it please :D 33 -, well it might! Did I imagine it, or is there going to be a few international juries voting this year too? 38 - I quite liked Love too! 46 - When I first got the mp3 (before I'd seen the performance on Youtube) I thought there was a problem with it and was going to edit it out  50 - 1998 was very good I thought :o

Same here  50. I'll have to give that another listen...my knowledge of pre 1999 contests is patchy

I think I liked Croatia, Israel, Malta, UK, Sweden and Slovakia that year and everything else was a bit dull  . I've finally found a place that has working download links for all the previous ESCs, so I'm downloading them like mad now  .

I have all of the contests from 1996-2009 on DVD now, and have every ESC song ever on a DVD :D not that I've listened to many of the old ones  My favourites in 1998 were also UK, Sweden, Israel, Malta - don't remember liking anything else that much from when I watched it

I can see Salem and Anna being the favourites of the Western European ones. Not sure about the south, maybe Darin? 50 - I've now got all the DVDs too, not watched them yet though. I'm up to 1984 on the downloads, but I haven't downloaded any of the 1950's/60's contests. Don't see much point really as I have all the famous entries from those years already and I can't see there being anything else great on offer.
