Track 5 is one of the highlights, so catchy, probably the catchiest song on the album! Could quite do well in BJSC if sung in english :o

Actually scrap 'Längtan', 'Glöm Mig' is now my favourite. Such an amazing composition.

It seems we get completely opposed to each other when it comes to Timoteij: I found Kom decent but nothing more; I love the album more than you and highlight tracks that you don't :heehee:

Haha Kom is fantastic! Glom Mig doesn't do much for me, and it took me about five listens to even remember it, so I wouldn't say it was the catchiest song on the album by any means (that's Kom :kink:). The first track is perhaps my favourite (very Eurovision-y in melody, tempo, key change and constant use of the word 'karlek :heehee:). Oh well, something for everyone here clearly :D

I have downloaded, from a torrent site. But i found the usual link, so PMing to you.
Actually 'Kärlek' appear in 'Vild' more than 'Högt över ängarna' tbh. It's practically built only with this word
Just realised that there's no official MF DVD out this year :( I bought the 2009 one and enjoy watching it back. I guess the Malena parody will just have to be relived on Youtube :heehee:

I still watch it regularly once in a week at least. It doesn't get old

I also love this AMAZING and mindblowing parody done by Christine:

Just bought this album off UK Itunes last night - it's really good! Just started learning Sweish aswell so should eventually understand some of it.

Listen to a remix of "This Is My Life" here

It may not work after today, so if you want to listen after, I should have downloaded it, and will be able to upload it somewhere for others to download.

It's been confirmed that there has been 'an order of 35,000 lights' for Anna's performance in the 2nd semi-final (and then presumably a last minute order for 35,000 more if she makes the final :heehee:) to recreate the lighting effect in Melodifestivalen. It was indeed very effective on screen so nice that she's keeping this! Will make it stand out a bit more I think.
Pain Of Salvation have their album released if anybody's interested by the way! :D
I'm not, but I noticed it on the Play.com pre-order chart! It's looking likely to make the UK top 200 next week. I wonder how many of the people buying it know that they've had anything to do with Eurovision
I think only a few percent of buyers don't know that  If so, it's quite surprising how many people in the UK follow Melodifestivalen

It should have a sticker on the cover saying;

'Includes the Melodifestivalen entry Road Salt'

would boost sales by at least two loons :kink:

Or put off half of potential cutsomers  (Especially if the word "Eurovision" gets mentioned )
  • 2 weeks later...

Instant reaction from Christer (translated obviously )

'Anna Bergendahl did a fantastic race and I am so proud of her. But it was a very tough semi-final with many useful contributions. I think this is only the beginning of a successful career of Anna, where the event in Oslo is just a learning experience.'

Interesting, does anyone reckon MF had any potential qualifiers this year? Was Kom too folky for this seemingly retro contest? Would Salem, Darin or Eric Saade have done any better? Maybe they should have stuck with schlager after all - poor Pernilla :kink:

Kom amongst all those slower tempo songs would have been amazing! Salem's piano would have been upstaged by Romania, Darin would have lost out to Harel. Eric Saade/Pernilla might have got the gay vote

Kom would've smashed in that slot. Salem would've definitely pulled in the jury votes far more effectively.

I think the blame should be placed firmly upon the semi draw. Sweden would've qualified with ease in semi 1.

Nice to see the Irish delegation coming over... I guess because our delegation is more or less Swedish anyway. :heehee:
