April 12, 201015 yr Hello suggy - apparently Rupert is there tonight too. Editing to add a great bit of news via Ali: OH MY GOD HOT OF THE PRESS FAYE TOLD SOMEONE WILL IS GOING TO DO MORE GIGS AT THAT CLUB and this: Last text From Suzi All over. Amazing ! Will just said he is here again Next MonthFingers firmly crossed for this. And there's more.... Thanks to MaryW on Devoted for this fabulous news: Just had a call from a Devoteee who managed to get in at the last minute and she said he was absolutely fantastic, and the audience adored him. She told me all the songs he sang which sounded wonderful, but her battery was running out, so she was speaking quickly to get it all in and I can't remember the songs but it sounded wonderful. She said he was hoping to do a residency there, but that wasn't confirmed, and that he had a small acting part in Coriolanus. I Googled it and it's a modern-day interpretation set during the Iraq war. The film, which is to star Fiennes as the brilliant general and Gerard Butler as his arch-enemy Tullus Aufidius, locates the action in contemporary Serbia. We have to say, this seems like a bit of a brilliant idea. The tragedy contains some pretty chewy, thought-provoking ideas about the nature of the good soldier and the problems inherent in democracy, specifically the way a political figure can manipulate a population by appealing to their fears and prejudices http://www.indiemoviesonline.com/news/shak...oriolanus-80410 Edited April 12, 201015 yr by munchkin
