I'm sorry but thats absolutey f**king ridiculous if thats true. That is a YEAR late. AND will be 3 years since last album. Really not impressed at all.

Fingers crossed it means they've gone back to drawing board and come up with something GOOD. Collide was enjoyable enough, but would have been a terrible lead single. That it dropped so fast after the inital week shows that it was a poor choice.

 

I'm not saying they need to go back to big ballads or anything, but if they are trying to do an uptempo, or at least an album with some more lively numbers, they need to make them GOOD and try and get Leona to invest something in them beyond some good vocals.

I really need some new leona songs in my life haha

I'm not sure how to feel about them pushing this back. On one hand, I'm frustrated because it's time for new material!!!11! On the other hand, I'm impressed they had the foresight to realise that the era was probably not going in the right direction after the release of 'Collide' and rather than pushing out her material to a mooted reaction, they had the confidence to go back to the drawing board. Hopefully this means we'll get some really good material.

She performed Glassheart again at a concert in Hong Kong. Hopefully we get some videos. :)

I can't believe she is still recording new material for the album, when it was originally due out last November and been put back yet again since then. Clearly, Syco were not happy with the first set of tracks set aside. I wonder how many of the songs penned for album originally, will actually end up on the final release?

To be fair, the gap between the last two Beyonce albums was 2 and a half years.

 

Anyway, 'You've Messed Up' sounds rather apt atm. :kink: In all seriousness, it would be great if YMU is even a tenth of how amazing WFL was. But Leona's team aren't known for picking the best songs. -_-
