So....alarm bells went when I heard Leona Lewis was heading back into the studio without a new album until next year. But.....

 

....I've just heard four tracks of new music. Can't give too much away but two tracks are easily her best work. Completely different....

 

...Different kettle of fish to her other work. Full of anger, emotion and very dark. Thrilled for Leona. Can't wait for you all to hear!

 

Also huge radio songs. Far cooler than anything she's ever done. Collide is weak in comparison. #leona

Oh wow!! Yeah, really bizarre, maybe the production on the new tracks needs a lot of work still? As long as we don't get a ten track album after this massive wait, i will be happy. She should definitely put out 3 singles before the album though, and another 2 or 3 afterwards. But it is Syco....so who knows :rolleyes:

Is there any more news at all? Feels like we were ready for it now, and have to now wait 4-5 months! :unsure: (6 months inbetween collide and the album) It is all just a bit of a mess. March is way to far away, should be at least January (21 style & then an X Factor performance in December will make sense).

Are we even getting an X Factor performance, will be so disappointed if we dont.

It looks like we won't even be getting another single until the release of the album now. :( I would've thought they would still release the planned second single in November and then a third single a week before the album release.

Ooooooh it sounds great!!! Agh, cant believe theres like an album worth of material just sitting there and she has to wait till next year to release it. If they do a "Shayne Ward" on her, i will personally hunt them all down and kill them :lol:

She's being screwed over big time by her label with this whole project, I'm sure it's well documented that 'Collide' didn't exactly do great but it wasn't to the extent where radio wouldn't have supported a next single had they acted on it quickly, releasing the album next year when sales are lower in general and she's in a pretty desperate situation is going to be so damaging for her.

lol... it aint gonna die... it aint started yet... the delay means there is still plenty of time... and at the moment she's getting some press attention with the charity work and great performances... sure it'll start picking up momentum soon ;)
