When is Lena Meyer-Landrut due to chart? Will it be #1?

Thanks Ben :)

When is Lena Meyer-Landrut due to chart? Will it be #1?

I think next week and I don't have an idea if it'll be number 1... sorry. I haven't heard the song yet tbh :kink:

A couple of those entries are thanks to Lena! But next week hopefully she enters at #1, #2 and #3 :heehee:
That would be amazing  I'm shocked to see that Nobody's Wife never charted before in Germany :o
Just thought I'd tell you that the exclusion rule has now been canned in Germany, so songs now can stay on the chart forever, meaning less new entries every week
Thanks Ben :)

When is Lena Meyer-Landrut due to chart? Will it be #1?

Lena will enter the chart next week - definetely at #1. But I don't know if her other 2 songs are allowed to chart, too.

Yan's German chart comments - Issue date 19.03

No changes at the top of the singles charts as Stromae's "Alors On Danse" stands there for a second consecutive week. I think the single is also the first song in French to top the charts in 23 years as last time the honour went to France Gall and her hit "Ella, elle l'a".

Kesha's former number one "Tik Tok" recoups two positions and returns in the top three at #2, while German band Unheilig is at #3 with "Geboren um zu leben". The latter is also number one in the LP chart for a third week now.

The highest new entry comes in at #4, belonging to superstar Rihanna. "Rude Boy" is the second single taken from her "Rated R" and comes two notches below the peak position of the pilot song "Russian Roulette". Excluding "We Ride" (peak #45) and "Hate That I Love You" (peak #11), "Rude Boy" continues the ever-growing top ten single list of Rihanna.

New to the chart are also OneRepublic at #14. "All The Right Moves" is the second single from the boys' "Waking Up" album and comes after the huge success of number-one hit "Secrets". Another great song from Ryan Tedder and co.

Ich+Ich, perhaps one of the best German bands now, also enters the top 20. "Einer von zweien" is the second single from the amazing "Gute Reise" album and despite making it to the top 20, I think that there are much better songs in the album which deserved to be singles (especially "Alleine tanzen", which even would have passed to the same video...).

Further down the chart we have a new entry from Justin Bieber at #22. Perhaps "Baby" has received the biggest support from media among Justin's releases, so it is a little bit strange that it only manages for now to reach the same peak position as the teen star last single "One Less Lonely Girl". Still, "One Time", his debut single remains his biggest hit in Germany by reaching #14.

A good German song can be found at #23, where the latest single of Jan Delay, "Hoffnung" charts.

It is also time for Avril Lavigne to return to the charts at #27. "Alice" is of course the title song of the latest Tim Burton hit "Alice in Wonderland" and has the honour to be a rare example in the latest decade of a movie song actually making it to the top 100.

German megastar Xavier Naidoo also returns to the chart with "Halte Durch". This is the second single from "Alles kann besser werden", whose title song reached #6 some months ago.

And finally Robbie Williams struggles (somewhat expected) to make another top 30 hit as "Morning Sun" debuts at #32 after the #1 "Bodies" and the #26 peak of "You Know Me".

The highest new entry in the LP chart comes from Gorillaz, whose third album "Plastic Beach" enters at #3. Debut LP "Gorillaz" peaked at #3, while the follow-up "Demon Days" reached #2.

Australians rockers Airbourne are new at #4 with "No Guts. No Glory."

I've just heard for the first time the Lene Meyer-Landrut song, Satellite. I'm sorry, but I think it's pretty $h!t :(

Next week's chart:

1 NE Lena Meyer-Landrut - Satellite (sold over 150,000)

3 NE Lena Meyer-Landrut - Bee

4 NE Lena Meyer-Landrut - Love Me

10 NE Jennifer Braun - I Care For You

21 NE Jennifer Braun - Bee

32 NE Jennifer Braun - Satellite

Fantastic! I'm not so fond of Love Me but Satellite and Bee are  150,000 sounds like a massive sale too :o they've really taken to her then!
