Here's what I'm saying for semi final two then... A lot more confident over the top nine getting through here, and I think it might just be the tenth spot that lets me down. But then if Russia can qualify with an atrocious song, I don't see why Ukraine can't with a half decent one - and one sung well!

Ukraine don't have Balkan and Baltic loyalists who got the humour of the Russian track, so I don't think we can make a Russia-style prediction for them - they've only really got Romania to vote for them in this semi, plus all three Caucasian countries who seem to have a knack for trading points with Ukraine for reasons entirely beyond me.

Apparently she's been giving a really good, strong performance though. Can definitely see it qualifying myself, and then coming in the bottom five on Saturday.

Alyosha's rehearsals have been flawless. Mid-table I think, maybe edging towards the top 10 like Svetlana did last year.

I'd be distraught if Ireland missed the final but Niamh's generally being predicted 7th-9th in this semi, so she's teetering on the edge a bit :drama: I honestly wouldn't care if Ukraine took out Denmark but apparently the performance of the latter has been getting better, and look at the average MOR radio pop they've taken to the final almost year in year out - All Night Long, Believe Again, Talking To You etc...they always somehow make it in with their polished and well produced yet unremarkable pop.
