I thought I would start a thread where we can post possible events, gigs and PA's that D might attend. Once they are officially confirmed we can then perhaps start a new thread to discuss and report each event.

I'll kick this off with some personal speculation. Please know, this is only a hunch from me, as I have no information at all that Darius will be attending, just my own guess work at the moment.

The N.U.T.S. 2010 event is happening on Thursday 7th of October at London's Royal Festival Hall. It's billed as an evening of operatic hits by Mozart, Bizet, Rossini, Puccini and many others. The information I have received from the Passage Charity says one of the numbers to be played on the night is Bizet's Toreador Song(Carmen) and as D has already performed this aria and has also supported this particular charity in the past, I thought it was worth posting here, just in case. :)

There already is a pinned thread for confirmed events.

Darius' management had nothing to do with the Lincoln event, it was something that Darius arranged last minute and so didn't go through the management team.

They are very aware that it's important to keep fans updated and are working towards arranging this. They do need more time but I think we'll find them a lot better than the last people.

NUTS is one I'd go back to like a shot. I loved both shows I went to. It's nice to get into the gladrags, meet up with old friends, see a really good show, quaff some champagne and help a worthy charity all at the same time.

Darius also showed some ability in phrasing Mozart well. Non Piu Andrai and Finch'an dal Vino (Champagne aria) are from Mozart's operas.

If he's asked and he can fit it in, I hope he will say yes.

just to let everyone know a workmate of mine told me that she got a little glimps of Darius sitting in the crowed of Justin-lee Colins show the other day as it was telling you who was going to be on it, but I not have the date of when he may be on. sorry about that

Thanks, Claire. Is that the show that I might have seen a trailer for?

I wasn't sure what kind of show it's supposed to be - so many things going on. Is it a Late Night "Noel's House Party" clone?

Has the first one been on yet?

I don't mind him in things, but I won't be watching this show unless D appears on it :)

Well I hope D is not doing this show, there is a long thread slating it on DS and it seems foul and disgusting language is the highlight.

This is the trailer that I saw for JLC 's show.

There are a lot of people. Not Darius, as far as I can see.

The bloke that stands up from the table, looks like Darius to me too! :)

No i cant stand that Justin neither...he thinks he's so funny, but he's just an idiot!

Thanks Baytree, you have probably beaten D to his next announcement but yet again it is only a few days away.

This one's 593 miles away for me, so as much as I'd love to see D, I don't think I'll be attending.

Thanks for the info though BT :)

taken us by suprise again!! I am so glad, I was thinking it would be something we already knew!!

It doesn't take much to imagine Darius as Escamillo. He's got the looks, the bearing, the comic timing, the moves ( Havana anyone?) and above all the voice.

I'm devastated I can't go. I shall expect blow by blow accounts here when I get back for my hols.

It's only one performance but its a start and more than some classical singers have done.

Darius is just so good at what he does - do we have to hope he doesn't do his absolute best in case we lose him to the operatic world? .
