We are very happy to announce that Will is to play the spectacular and historical Osborne House, on the Isle of Wight, on July 31st!

 

Tickets will go on sale at 9am tomorrow, so make sure you're up bright and early to get yours!

 

Check back here for details on how to buy at 9am tomorrow morning.

 

Busy weekend with Will at Tatton Park the day after. Now we just need some northern dates.

I am back now! I am delighted he is coming to the Island.

 

I have let people know on the other sites that the best ferry to catch is the Red Funnel from Southampton to EAST COWES. Then it is only a few minutes on the bus to Osborne House. The buses run until after midnight and there are extra ferries on during Cowes Week.

A MEDLEY of hits from the decade that fashion forgot closed a weekend of pop and partying at the historic home of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert last night.

 

In a stunning settting overlooking The Solent, thousands of revellers partied to the sounds of the original Pop Idol Will Young and a number of re-formed 80s chart-toppers.

 

Up-and-coming Southampton songstress Charley Macaulay opened the Osborne House event on Saturday night with a set of self-penned songs and crowd-pleasing covers.

 

She was followed by singer songwriter Lizzy Pattinson before an amiable Will Young, pictured left, took to the stage, joking with the audience, taking their picture for his Twitter page and even answering the mobile phone of one of his crew during an enjoyable one-and-a-half- hour set.

 

As the sun set over Osborne House, the multi-platinum singer and his team of dancers dressed in neon skeleton suits for an impressive instrumental section.

 

The undoubted highlight of the night was a rousing sing-along encore of his biggest hits Leave Right Now and Evergreen, which sent partygoers away with smiles on their faces.

PARTY goers enjoyed a pop picnic this weekend as Will Young and a host of Eighties stars performed at Osborne House.

Top of the bill on Saturday night was king of pop Will Young, who made his third appearance on the Island, following performances at the Isle of Wight Festival and Bestival.

He was supported by Lizzy Pattinson and Charley Macauley.

And on Sunday, Eighties favourites Belinda Carlisle, ABC, Go West, Howard Jones, Rick Astley and Bananarama all performed against the backdrop of Queen Victoria's home.
