It was so good to give Stuart a hug again.

We were both like Cheshire cats when we saw each other.

We had a marvelous Sunday brunch before going to the Mall where I managed to get a dress for my works Christmas meal, Stuart actually choose it :)

After I had a nap, jet lag and nights, we went to the pictures to watch a 3D film, Megamind.

They are now in bed and I'm wide awake :(

At least I didn't fall asleep watching the film :)

I've just been outside on the deck and you can hear the coyotes in the distance........ scary.

I did meet some local wildlife this morning....a white and ginger cat came onto the deck and looked into my coffee cup.

It ran off when I put my hand out for my cup.

I'm being taken on a surprise tomorrow........

Shall let you know

aww, sounds wonderful - takes me back to watching the black squirrels on my sisters deck in Barry, then brunch(all you could eat) and the mall!

Glad you got there safely and are having such a good time Pam. Do the two boys miss seeing each other?

At least it was coyotes, not wolves.

It all sounds very nice. Sitting on a deck appeals to me - but I'd like it a little warmer.
Glad you are having a good time in Canada Pam. Enjoy your suprise.

I've just emptied half mt kitchen - the other half is in even more mess than normal. Tomorrow the builders are starting to convert 2/3rds of the space I've emptied into a downstairs toilet and shower, big enough to get a wheelchair in for Mum. We know that she's never going to get upstairs to a bathroom. She can't wait. She's already had one fall getting ready for it and the walls and plumbing haven't even been started.

Let's hope they fly through the work and then your mum will be over the moon and you can start on the next project :)

My surprise was a trip to British Columbia to one of the hot springs.

It was so warm and relaxing.

managed to spot some wild life by the road side and took photos. Will try to sort them and put one or two up.

sounds wonderful,Pam

doesnt sound that wonderful, Meg! hoping they get the work done double quick - I hate builders round the place!

Our workmen are lovely - so that helps - the fact that they are doing several things at once is slightly difficult. Tomorrow, they want to do the french doors in the kitchen and those in the dining room - where I'm going to move any thing to is a mystery at the moment - the chances of getting anywhere near the dining room doors seem remote given the amount of stuff already in that room before we moved other things in from the kitchen - although we are supposed to have a charity picking up the Welsh dresser and the writing bureau on Friday, that isn't going to help us tomorrow.

Pam, I love the thought of a hot spring. In cold weather it must be lovely - except the getting out afterwards. I'm glad it was a nice surprise. Was it muddy? I have pictures of my lot in Spain coated in mud at a hot spring - maybe that should be a hot mud bath though.

Glad your having a lovely time Spam, look forward to seeing any wldlife pics you get :)

Lovely surprise Pam, though like Meg, I hope it wasn't too cold getting out. Look forward to seeing the photos.

Hope your building work goes without too much hassle Meg.

Hassle? Since when has anything gone without hassle? Since the weather is fine today, they've knocked part of the kitchen down - and gone up to do the guttering and soffit boards instead of carrying on. They have to make the most of the dry weather as it may not last.

Oh Meg, it sounds awful, but will be worth it in the end, you just have to hold that thought!!

Glad you're enjoying yourself Pam. Sue

I'm quite happy about it all - knew it would have problems with the time of the year but I'm so glad it has been started. And I have the pleasure of looking forward to it being finished - even if it is in the dim and distant future.
