We got let off our parking fine - thank goodness. Mum was delighted. I kept telling her it wasn't anything to worry about, She'll just forget all about it now.

Bernie Nolan is said to have breast cancer. Her two older sisters have also had it. What a horrible thing. Her sisters have both recovered so I hope she does too. They're testing the rest of the family.

I hope she will make a complete recovery. I would have thought they would have tested the rest of the family

sooner, if two of the sisters have already had it. I hope they have caught it early.

It had already spread to her lymph glands so she has to have a mastectomy and chemo

steven hawkins only JUST stating that if there alians out there in space.we shouldnt be contacting them, LOL been saying this for years, never thought broadcasting the directions to earth and details of ourselves via that satilite was a good idea..we may be the alian equilivant to the dodo.. good to eat and easy prey on a long space journey LOL taking ourselves as an example we would be wiped out pretty quick as a pest

I forgot to look. Nothing in the charts but that doesn't always mean anything.

Going to see Peter Kay tonight, he's on at The MEN Arena. It's the first night of his'Tour That Doesn't Tour' show. Always found him very funny, but he hasn't done 'stand up' for several years so will have to wait and see. Sue

It must be really worrying for all of them - 3 sisters going down with the disease.

What is even more worrying is that, knowing her sisters had had it, Bernie found the lump at Xmas but didn't see

a doctor for so long.

Everyone laughed at my Mum when she found a lump when she was in her 30s. Two of her friends said they'd had lumps for years and it never bothered them. That lump and the next, turned out to be cysts. Her friends both died as the lumps they ignored for years were cancer. Mum went straight to the doctor with this last lump but, because of where it was placed, it hadn't been noticed before. They even had to redo the scan as it was so hard to cover.

So Bernie must have had it all the way through PSTOS. Perhaps that's why she didn't do something straight away because she'd commited to that. They did mention it briefly on ' Loose Women' because Coleen was on and it was also her daughter's 8th Birthday.

 

Peter Kay was disappointing, although it was his first night and I'm sure he will improve. Actually it wasn't just him it was the whole experience. The disabled bays in the car park were not on ground level but were dotted around on levels 3,5 and 7 which made them really hard to find and then the one we managed to find was at the furthest point away from the lift. Inside the arena, for some reason, the disabled seating bay was a really long walk away from the entrance. The performance was due to start at

7 30 but for the first half hour we got a surprise appearance from Rick Astley and then there was a break of 45 minutes! Apparently something had fused, but to be honest I was fed up before Peter Kay came on and then, when the sound was a bit distorted, and there was another break of 30 minutes I'd had enough. Perhaps there should have been a couple of preview performances to iron out teething problems. The lay out of everyting at The Liverpol Arena seems far better than Manchester.
