unfortunately I had to ask the vet to come to my house this afternoon, he now is at peace.

Sorry to hear your sad news Pam :( I'm dreading the day when something happens to our Jerry Lee, as she's more like our baby than a pet to us and she's 12 and a half now :unsure:

 

The pain is hard to bear, but I'm sure he had a wonderful life. I hope you can take comfort from knowing that you meant as much to him as he did to you!

Ben and I are doing ok, been out nearly all day :)

It's very strange only having to watch one dog, but Billy is with us.

He was a good dog and well loved.

He was chosen by my daughter because he had a smiley face on his chest as a puppy:)

Morag and Jon have just lost their baby. There was no reason, it's just something that happens sometimes - doesn't make it less devastating. My thoughts and sympathies are with them.

Finally having a new bathroom put in and it seems to be going on for ever. I know I'm impatient, but it's week 2 now and I can see it going on for another 2 weeks at this rate!!

On a nicer note, I'm going to see Les Mis at the Lowry tonight, and for once it's not raining and the sun is almost shining. Sue

It'll be great when the bathrooms finished. Lovely feeling seeing it all done and sparkling. You'll have to let us know how you enjoy Les Mis. I bet Gareth will be brilliant in it. He seems so suited to the role he has.
