So with all these studio albums, which is the stand out album for you?

For me it's a toss up between Like A Prayer and Confessions, they're both amazing but I went with Confessions. Tough choice though!

They all are really awesome albums!.

Like a prayer is by far her best album for me followed by ray of light.

Ray Of Light is pretty much unbeatable, though Confessions, Like A Prayer, Erotica and the self-titled debut are all up there.

I thought confessions was hugely disapointing.

The albums released before and after it are the real disappointments I'd say.

i agree with that aswell, confessions was better in that way but as a whole it didnt do much for me at all.

True Blue. Her often forgotten album which I can't understand why, the singles were great and it has her best ballad on it - Live to Tell. :)

 

Ray of Light, Like a Virgin and Music would follow.

I voted for confessions...I would follow this by like a prayer and then ray of light.

Probably pretty much alone in loving that top 2 :P

True Blue is very special to me , this is when Madonna lyrically and musically got serious. It is so much more mature then her first two albums. The cd cover is now so iconic too. This was when Madonna was probabaly at her greatest peak she had not put a foot wrong during this era or much before.

 

Live To Tell, Papa Dont Preach, True Blue, Open Your Heart, La Isla Bonita - what a fantastic set of singles. All incredibly strong yet so different. Madonna likes to theme albums now but i love this album for its variety.

 

White Heat, Where's The Party are are also strong album tracks many fans were actually desperate for Where's The Party to be a single too. As a kid i also loved Jimmy Jimmy and Love Makes The World Go Round, i dont love them as much as i did but they hold good memories for me!!
