I am so excited for this tonight!

Usually Chelsea isn't to good of an actress but the past few weeks/months she's really improved.

Why do I get the feeling we're going to have to wait ages for the first scene with Denise and co. in tonight? Either way, I can't wait to see what happens! :D

Lucas (Don Gilet?) is on The One Show right now! :P

I thaught Eastenders was on for an hour tonight? Or am i just going mad?

Well what a load of tosh this episode is turning out to be!
Yeah that was a let-down. This week hasn't been anything like as great as last week.

I agree with the episode being poor overrall, but them final few scenes were pretty brilliant! I expected Lucas to blow the house up though, so I'm glad Denise et all survived! :cheer:
What an absolute $h!t episode! I was so looking forward to watching it too  :(

Not a lot happened in that episode did it? In reality all the scenes in the B&B could've been combined into a long 5 minute scene, then we could've watched/switched off when they started playing rounders for half an hour. Poor end to a storyline which had lots of potential.
Well that was a rather disapointing end to the Lucas storyline. I found when Patrick, Denise, Libby and Chelsea all ran out of the door was quite silly, as they could have just done that when Lucas seemed calm rather than waiting a while with an unstable man in a room.
How disappointing. I cared not for the rounders trash or anything that went on outside the main storyline. I thought it was going to be epic when Lucas threatened to kill Libby but then we didn't go back to them for about 10 minutes and it was all watered down by then!
I was a bit disappointed. The climax was quite weak. But you can't denie Don Gilet is awesome actor. He makes it so real.

I have to agree with you on it, he played the character brilliantly!

The B&B IS Denise's house. But nobody ever stays there because at least five bedrooms are currently being occupied by the Fox/Trueman/Johnsons.

I don't think it's actually been a B&B for years. I think the place she was being kept hostage used to be the other half of it, but Patrick and Yolande downsized it to a house, so they could afford the Minute Mart? Something like that anyway.

But yeah, I'm in agreement with pretty much everyone here. I think that was a bit of a limp climax to the storyline. Not really sure what I was expecting, just something more, was it too much to hope he'd kill Libby? :(

Heather not reading the note was so unbelievable as well and the rounders game was too predictable.

The bit I found most surprising was when Denise and the others ran out of the house at the end and a crowd had gathered - nobody seemed at all surprised to see her considering they'd all not long been to her funeral
Disappointed in Diane Parish. She is usually great as Denise but completely left me underwhelmed. The actress who plays Libby was fantastic though.

I thought Diane was quite good, but I do agree that the actress who plays Libby was brilliant, such a shame her and Chelsea really shown how good of actresses they are near their exits. :(

Libby is still mostly rubbish. She's good at being a 'normal' awkward teenager sort of character but anything which requires any real drama or strong emotion she isn't capable of because she has that WHINY ASS voice. She yells at Lucas for murdering her dad and she might as well be telling him off for forgetting to buy milk from the shop.

Chelsea is great though and has been for a good few months now. She enhances any scene she's in for me. Very natural and has a way of making a regular line of script into something amusing. And Diane was SPOT ON tonight - it's the script that let her down! It was sooo much of anti-climax for a story which has been building for over 6 months.

I think Chelsea's been rubbish. The actress who played her seems to have got her degree from the Copacabana School of Dramatic Arts. I didn't think Libby was too bad compared to normal but that isn't saying much. Denise is too up and down for me (unlike her eyebrows which are always 'up'). Lucas was brilliant and I just love Rudolph Walker. Still don't see how the four of them couldn't have overpowered him though ... I mean ... it wasn't like he was armed with anything immediately kill-worthy.

My dramatic end to it would have been though for them to hold on (until near the end of the episode) the scene where he has the telephone cord around Libby's neck (by the way ... where were the marks ... pedantic quibble ... I digress) ... then cut to the rounders game (which for me was way more exciting to anything that was going on inside) ... Abi takes the bat ... gives one hell of a welly ... through the window of the Trueman house ... knocking Lucas stone cold dead.

And another thing! WTF do they have to have Dot running through scenes like the White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland. I wish she'd run down a hole and not come back!

But tonight's scenes with Dot in were by far the best of the whole episode? LOL
