I'm glad that Denise is alive, but tbh, it's a bit unreal being able to survive being strangled.
Sadly after reading spoilers I wasn't shocked by the end, although I didn't think she would return by being held captive by Lucas which was a nice shock. :P
I knew she was alive it was rather predictable at the end, the body the Police found in the canal was definitely not her, that's when I twigged, I can't wait for next Thursday now, I believe its an hour episode. Also why did Chelsea not see the body when Lucas went to the mortuary together, otherwise Lucas would have been rumbled.
It's perfectly possible to survive strangulation if it's done in the right place, infact if done right it can knock you out in enough time to secure you before you come too.

Chelsea did not see the body when her and Lucas went to the mortuary together because she started crying too much and decided not to go and see the body.

They really need to kill Peggy off soon. She's just awful. The character is just plain shallow and the actress has just used up her 'one trick pony' act.

I read somewhere her character is going to be killed off in a few weeks.

Really? She could have just been unconscious, it does happen a lot...

Fabulous!

Sorry Norma but nine times out of ten you have terrible taste in soap characters. Peggy is one of the best things about EastEnders. She might be pantomime and technically she should probably be bipolar such is her level of crazy but she has SO MUCH HEART and that's the most important thing in a soap character.
What a great twist. EE coudn't have killed her. She's my favourite character. Diane Parish is an excellent actress. I'm excited about the Lucas story will unearth. Denise the only one who can stop him. His next victims might be Chelsea and Libby.
Ya i think thats what he will do to get revenge on denise and what better way to hurt her than kill her kids, thats how i think the storyline will go.

he doesn't kill any of them.

denise however does return on thursday to the fox residence...

Is she really right next door to the B&B?

How mad.

huh? she's on the square?

Excuse me but I have excellent taste in soap characters and Peggy is just dire. There's no consistency in her actions. I know she's getting on ... but she's contradicted herself dozens of times over during her stay. Time for her to go! Maybe an OAP's 'charabanc' outing to Shoeburyness ... and she, Dot and Jim could go in one fell swoop! Add a few of the younger characters to help the old dears on and off the coach and some of that useless lot could go too!

I've really enjoyed Eastenders lately ... but they've just got to get rid of the dead wood.

She is right next door to her house, not the B&B.
