That probably is the reason, but it would be nice to have our representative there. Sieneke is at Amsterdam and although not confirmed yet, Tom Dice is expected to be present at the Antwerp event :(

Yay :) Wish they'd release some more tickets, only got one for myself, and the BF wants to go...

Yay, it's a rubbish song, but it's nice to have him there :D . If only they could get about 2 more (decent) entrants, or some former UK entrants, then it would be worth the money.

There was something about more tickets being available, but I haven't seen them come up yet.

Hera Bjork appears to have pulled out. Absolutely gutted :(

Edit: And has been replaced by Cyprus...

I think I might ask for a third of my money back -_-

She said through Facebook today that the volcano is still affecting Iceland's airspace and so she's had to cancel promo events in Belgium and London :(

Never mind, if I get to meet the Cyprus guy we can have a chat about Welsh life :heehee:

I missed Douze Points this time :( Denmark, who would have thought it? :o

Off to the party now, can't wait :w00t:

Assuming you won't read this before you get back - I hope you had a great time :)

Denmark doing well at the Douze Points, and leading the OGAE voting too :o Could they win again, just ten years after their last win?

Yes I did, thank you  All the perfromers were great, including Josh :o And I met Ghosty, which was really nice :)

Yeah, it surprises me. People think it's because of mostly gay fans grasping desperately for anything that is schlager-like, but for me it's more an 80s rock song, and a bland one at that...

The performances were great, but my camera died after Romania came on, so I had to resort to my rubbish phone camera  . Niamh was amazing, Paula can really hit those high notes, Josh has improved dramatically and the Cyprus guy looked far more comfortable than I expected him to be.

Yeah, it was great to meet you too, Tom :)
