August 9, 201014 yr Good idea, there is a great site I use called comicvine.com :) Ok bookmarked thanks :)
September 27, 201014 yr After taking at a peek at Julian Fellowes's profile over at IMDB, it turns out that a new version of Romeo and Juliet is due out next year, with Fellowes writing the script and Carlo Carlei in the directing chair (it looks like this will be his first film he will make in English). According to IMDB, Lily Collins will be playing Juliet, the only signigicant role I can see that she has had, is in the Blind Side. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1645131/ I don't know what to make of this, to be fair it has been over a decade since the last adaptation. However, that is one of my favourite films of all time, and Baz Luhrmann's take on the source material was quite original. His adaptation was already aimed at the MTV generation, not to mention the new High School Musical films taking the basic story to an even younger audience, so I don't know where they could go with the story unless they take it back to basics, make it more classy and aimed at adults (and considering who's writing the screenplay this is a big possibilty). Plus, there is also an animation comedy spin on the tale with Gnomeo and Juliet due out next year too with some big names voicing the characters. Gosford Park was heavily praised (and Downton Abbey seems pretty great so far) so I trust Fellowes with the script. What does everyone else think about this? Regardless it looks like the star-cross'd lovers are back with a bang in 2011. Edited September 29, 201014 yr by Daniel II
September 30, 201014 yr I think Baz Luhrmann' will remain my favourite version of the story. It will be pretty hard to beat it...
October 2, 201014 yr I just watched Bandslam, thinking it would be some cheap Disney crap that would be easy to watch whilst hungover. It was marketed in completely the wrong way, it even has an indie tone to it and you really become involved in the characters. Aly Michalka and Lisa Kudrow are both truly brilliant in this as well, Vanessa Hudgens is probably at her best as well and completely different to her role in High School Musical. Really enjoyable and I think the target audience it was aimed for with it's advertising and posters would probably be too young for it!

October 27, 201014 yr the follow up to 'The Dark Knight' is called.... 'The Dark Knight Rises' and WON'T feature The Riddler (as previously rumoured). Where did you hear that Chris? October 27, 201014 yr Where did you hear that Chris? EDIT: Nevermind, just seen that Empire have updated there site with the story. yeah i read it on Comic Book Resources, but it's pretty much on every website ever. does suck about The Riddler a bit, I thought they would pull him off really well, more so than most Batman villains.
October 28, 201014 yr http://www.dailyblam.com/sites/all/files/news/images/cap.jpg first time we have seen Chris Evans as Captain America :o
October 28, 201014 yr I can't stand Chris Evans, but I think he could be a good Captain America. Loving that they are not straying far from the comics :cheer:
October 31, 201014 yr One of the producers of Saw 3D aims to bring another horror franchise back to life -- and, yes, in 3D. Bloody Disgusting reports that Saw series producer Marc Burg will team with Carl Mazzocone to make Leatherface 3D, the latest sequel to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. "Word has it that Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures are putting the finishing touches on Debta Marcus and Adam Sullivan's screenplay for Leatherface 3D. We're told that the plot picks up immediately where Tobe Hooper's original left off before flashing forward 35 years. There's buzz of a 'cult' involved," says BD. It was reported last year that the film will follow a relative of Leatherface's who encounters him decades after the events depicted in the earlier films, and that the movie will be more urban and that cannibalism will play a big part in it. http://uk.movies.ign.com/articles/113/1131328p1.html
