Will to perform at 'Help a Jersey Child' charity concert

We are pleased to confirm that Will is going to play at Howard Davis park, Jersey, in aid of 'Help a Jersey Child', on Friday 23rd July.

 

Tickets for this event will go on sale this at 9am today so head back then for more details!

Thanks TT. Jane on Devoted said the other day she heard about this through her sister but it hadn't been officially confirmed then. Hope she gets to go but she was doubtful as it's a charity do and the tickets can be expensive.

Channel 103 Brings Will Young To Jersey

 

Channel 103 is bringing Will Young to Jersey this summer.

 

He will be the headline act as the station hosts The Big Gig in the Park at Howard Davis Park on 23rd July.

 

Since winning Pop Idol 8 years ago, Will Young has sold more than 8 million records worldwide.

 

His first single - a double A-side featuring 'Evergreen' and 'Anything Is Possible' - became the fastest-selling debut in UK chart history, selling more than 400,000 copies on its day of release

 

His latest Album, The Hits has already gone platinum.

 

Sponsored by Airtel Vodafone, the concert will raise money for Channel 103's charity Help a Jersey Child.

 

Tickets go on sale on Wednesday.

Jane on Devoted has gone for the VIP package & it sounds lovely.

 

OMG cant believe Ive done it, hotel and flight booked, ticket booked gone for VIP no queing and no legging it, seated area at front of stage, food and drinks included, well this is my one and only gig and Im not having a holiday this year so this will be it

 

At least we'll get to hear all about it. :thumbup:

I enjoyed that very much...the DJ did his homework and asked some good questions i thought and it's been along time since i heard DLMD..good lord..blast from the past there :lol: ..loved the Bev Knight bit at the start....she's fab..best female singer we have in this country...i wonder what sort of collab they would make?...laughed with the Devoted mention..was that you he said hi to Gill...or Gill? :lol: I found Will engaging and interesting as always..he loves mentoring and helping out the Children at catch 22 doesn't he? bless him :wub: ... :wub: how exciting to think he has a couple of acting 'things' coming up at the end of the year...what could they be?

Bev Knight really sang Will's praises didn't she. He seems to have that effect on women doesn't he. :lol:

It was a good interview wasn't it? :D would love him to do something with Bev.. :D ..do we know when the film he's producing is out? i was wondering if one of the acting thing's he mentioned was the part he has in that?
