Would it be too cheap to send a song from a ESC selection? :drama: And do people really follow national selections apart from Sweden & Norway? I've just stumbled across a great song from the Maltese selection, and one from the Estonian

EDIT: Now dancing to Jennifer Braun's "I Care For You". Tell me it's not too cheap :snif:

Very boring and uninspired but I would say that about 95% of Swedish pop and most others apparently think differently. :P

"I Care For You" would be a lot better. :)

I wouldn't say that's cheap at all since it was only really played once in the final of a German casting show.

You won't succeed with both tbf. People are already over ESC plus if there was a really strong song in the Maltese/Estonian selection Rich would've spotted it :kink:

Rich listens to every song in even the Maltese & Estonian selections? :o

I'll try and look for something properly unknown & amazing, but if no such thing appears by the time confirmation ends, an NF song could be my back-up. Though I'm a bit reluctant since my last entry was by a ESC 2010 participant, and my entry before that is now top 3 on iTunes.

I didn't listen to either the Estonian or Maltese national selections, no  I only religiously follow the five Scandi ones and the UK one, and I also watched the German final this year, with some real time comments I made in the Germany thread that I'd rather forget now

Highlight of the NF season;

Does that mean you'd rather me remove them from my signature? :kink:

thanks for that

It will never be forgotten :drama:

First time I heard Fairytale on the other hand I said 'this will win MGP and then Eurovision'. So at least I was right one time! Songs rarely hit me on the first listen to be fair, I'm very much a 'grower' type of person, hence why songs debuting inside my top ten in my chart is a pretty rare occurence.

Yeah Fairytale was instantly the ultimate winner as soon as i heard it but then again it was unbelievably HUGE it was so obvious...

If 16th May 2009 had been the first time I'd heard "Fairytale" (or 14th May :P), I don't think I'd have liked it. Took a while to grow on me, personally :(

Might try a national selection again for BJSC 28. Can't make up my mind, but I have just found a really good up-tempo French pop-song - plus it's by a female :o If it wasn't for the language barrier, that would be the perfect winning formula :kink:

Which one was it? I only found one truly brilliant song in the Maltese selection this year, Samsara by Claudia Faniello, and even that had a dodgy intro

Last year's had some really epic tunes, Kamikaze Lover and Shades Of Memories were divine

Now that we have our reservations, here are the four songs Bignia-Zaragovina are considering for BJSC28

Belle - "Sound Of Summer"

Cody Simpson Ft. Flo Rida - "iYiYi"

Jennifer Braun - "I Care For You"

Metric - "Eclipse (All Yours)"

Videos will be added later, then you can all comment on which you prefer :)

Cody is pretty much the Australian Justin Bieber, and I know that Justin isn't liked on here, but I do like the song

Here are the videos for people wanting to have a listen. Opinions are appreciated :)

Metric overload

When Cody starts singing, I'm reminded of "One Time", but what does the intro [when Flo Rida starts singing] remind people of? It certainly reminds me of something, but I don't think it's "One Time", and now it's really bugging me :P

Ah, that's it! :o Thanks Jamie :D I knew it was quite a recent song which also featured a rapper, but I couldn't for the life of me come up with what it was
Belle  I downloaded it yesterday and love it, reminds me a bit of Lucky Twice.
