from wikipedia - stewart granger - He was the great-great grandson of the opera singer Luigi Lablache and the grandson of the actor Luigi Lablache. When he became an actor, he was obliged to change his name in order to avoid being confused with the American actor James Stewart. (Granger[1] was his Scottish grandmother's maiden name.
BP - is that REALLY you with the bulls head on?

You got me, but I wasn't wearing a costume :(

I can see myself in the audience in one of Vivienne's pics on facebook. It always amazes me, no matter how hard I try, the paparazzi always manage to track me down. Please, please no autographs :D

If you'd sat where I was Paul, no paparazi would have caught you.
Lovely photos, thanks for bringing them across Meg, also thanks to Vivienne for sharing them. Sue

Thanks to the wonderfully friendly people at the O2, who have allowed me to share these pics of D in the show. Please note, I do not own the copyright, so please don't copy these images or place them anywhere else, many thanks!

Once again, many thanks to the O2

I thought it was nice of Darius to pick me out in the audience. Unfortunately, I didn't realise he did it so he knew which direction to turn away from whilst he performed most of his scenes :( Still enjoyed him in it though :)

I wouldn't have missed it. I think it was something to remember and great that he did it.
lovely pics, so glad they let us see them too. I am so grateful I changed my mind and went for the seats I did, I would have been behind the orchestra too, these pics show a different view point which is lovely

Thank you for all the pics. They're a lovely consolation. I'm so sad to have missed Carmen and it's so good to see so many pictures from the show.

He looks fantastic and yes, he often reminds me of some of the actors from the golden era of Hollywood.

Don't fancy hers - Don Jose - that is!

Maybe he'll do an opera, just one, in a proper venue. The sound was poor, BT and the venue was just too big, you couldn't see any emotion at all.

Thank you both, BP and Meg, for providing the photos, whether yours or someone else's (thanks Vivienne and the O2),

and for all your work in putting them on Buzzjack for us all to share.

Great shots......really enjoyed seeing them.

Just back from my trip to Las vegas and the World Series Of Poker, and the O2 have been kind enough to supply a few more images of Darius as Escamillo. Once again, I don't own the copyright on these images, so please don't copt these images or post them anywhere else, thanks! :)
