sorry but john lennon was RIGHT, people were talking about the beatles back then more then jesus, so i never got why there was upset about it. i never thought it was blasphemous, just a lazy statement of fact.

 

I agree too, as The Beatles, at that time loomed more important to teenagers than going to church etc.
