Posted April 15, 201015 yr Surprised there isn't a topic for this, the first ever Live TV Debate is on right now!
April 15, 201015 yr I've just switched on, surprised Salmond didn't block STV from showing it. Gordon is a terrible public speaker. Please don't tell me i missed Immigration :(
April 15, 201015 yr Author You did miss immigration Phil  Cameron came off sounding like Nick Griffin! I'm much loving Nick Clegg.
April 15, 201015 yr You did miss immigration Phil  Cameron came off sounding like Nick Griffin! I'm much loving Nick Clegg. Balls!!!!!!! I well wanted to see that, as it's a key thing for me. Australian Customs/Immigration ftw. Clegg is pwning. I think the LibDems will benefit quite well from this
April 15, 201015 yr Gordon Brown and David Cameron have come across the most smug so far - their little smirks to themselves is quite revealing. Nick Clegg hasn't smirked to himself yet - or at least if he has the camera wasn't focused on him.
April 15, 201015 yr I loved the warning that the education question only applies to England. I'll be watching the debate on Tuesday, fingers cross the smarmy c**t bag Salmond gets shot down.
April 15, 201015 yr If this was a boxing match the ref would have stopped it by now with Cameron so far ahead on points He has been slick, decisive, good policies Stand by for a massive tory lead after tonight

I haven't seen immigration, but from Crime onwards Clegg is pwning everyone. Cameron just comes across as the english Alex Salmond tbh
April 15, 201015 yr If this was a boxing match the ref would have stopped it by now with Cameron so far ahead on points He has been slick, decisive, good policies Stand by for a massive tory lead after tonight I will admit, prior to this programme I was already leaning more towards Conservatives or Lib Dems purely because of their policies. So far my personal opinion hasn't changed.
April 15, 201015 yr Reading this thread is PAINFUL. Clearly most of you are completely and utterly closed minded so what's the point of watching?
April 15, 201015 yr Author Clegg is a good orator but his regional immigration idea was completely cuckoo His regional thing was odd indeed, but Camero's rehearsed speeches are idiotic and alot of people on Twitter and Facebook are seeing through it. I genuinly think Libs will benefit hugely.
April 15, 201015 yr Reading this thread is PAINFUL. Clearly most of you are completely and utterly closed minded so what's the point of watching? Says he who isn't even watching.
April 15, 201015 yr You can't tell that Cameron has supposedly got the 'Mum's' vote can you. 'Mothercare... Mothercare... Mothercare.'
April 15, 201015 yr The Lib Dems aren't going to have some huge surge in popularity James. You're deluding yourself. They've long been the party it's okay to like, the friendly well-intentioned party who like to promote themselves as the underdogs, and cementing that image further by way of this debate won't win them votes in any important quantity. Says he who isn't even watching. I'm not watching no but I'd probably be the same if I was frankly and I just don't understand why you'd watch unless it was because you were that bored that you can think of nothing better than to spend an hour and a half watching some pre-rehearsed banter and a few sidewards snipes none of which are going to do even the remotest to make you reconsider your political alliances.

My seat is a insanely safe LibDem seat. I'm watching this out of curiosity, i don't know that much about politics so i'm using this to see what each party is for/against.
April 15, 201015 yr same here silas, i'm watching it because i haven't got a clue about politics and watching it will actually give me a reason to vote for one of them and i'm definitely siding with nick clegg so far. it will be interesting to see the polls and stuff on the news next too..
