May 1, 201015 yr Some of the comparaisons in the above picture is just LOL, especially the GaGa ones. It's like "OMG GAGA WORE RED IN HER VIDEO FIRST".
May 1, 201015 yr I hadn't seen this video before today, but I do kinda like that :P . I have a soft spot for Xtina. Although this isn't the most original video - it does look like "Bad Romance" - and not the most original song - sounds a bit like "SexyBack" - I still can't deny that it is good :) . I'm  the sex appeal, the costumes, etc. They all seem to suit Xtina. And no one can deny her awesome talent, that is her voice! I'm hoping that "Bionic" will be as good as "Stripped," but that will be hard because I think that's the album that defines Xtina's career at the moment. By the way, I thought the whole Britney vs. Christina debate ended years ago... I thought it was clearly established that Christina was better than Britney  .
May 1, 201015 yr Dont like the video at all. It just looks like a cheap version of the Bad Romance video IMO. I like the song though, but ive got a bit bored of it now.
May 1, 201015 yr Author I'm sick of all these Lady GaGa comments. As if, shes been about 2 years shes hardly going to influence anything Christina does. The video is majorly influenced by the Madonna video but TBH I think that was the point, Christina has said herself Madonna is one of her main inspirations.
May 1, 201015 yr Calm down loons. Xtina has copied Lady GaGa in some respects, she may not be the first to do electropop, but she was definetly the one to make it big again. Like I said it wouldn't matter if it wasn't as someone as high profile as Xtina but it is and that's why it looks bad. If it flops which I think it will, it'll serve her right for not being original.

Completely agree with all of that. :)
May 1, 201015 yr Author She's not copying GaGa at all the inspiration for this video is MADONNA. She got so much stick for "KGB" and GaGa references (which i agree was a bit of a rip off) why the hell would she copy her for her first album in 4 years...? Edited May 1, 201015 yr by Bionic!
May 2, 201015 yr The video is a homage to Madonna. So if Christina copied Madonna then Gaga fans they must be admitting Gaga copied her as well. Epic fail Gaga fans.
May 2, 201015 yr Well that isn't true really. They wouldn't be saying GaGa copied Madonna as well because she didn't. Part of the video was a like Madonna's videos, the other part was like Bad Romance, which didn't copy Madonna.
May 2, 201015 yr wow that image comparison of madonna and lady gaga is pretty hilarious! but what i don't understand is if you're gonna copy someone (if that's what she has done) then why would she make it so obvious?? those photos are literally exactly the same in the thing that's going on or what she's wearing but why would she make it so obvious for people to make easy comparisons like that? i don't get it.. i love the song and video though and i hope does well in the uk cos it's looking like it's failing a bit in america at the moment!

I think the video is more a homeage than copying.
May 2, 201015 yr I think the video is more a homeage than copying. maybe so but i've not heard anything about her saying she was inspired by them both yet. she still may but so far she hasn't which i find a bit sketchy. infant doesn't she really resent lady gaga? you'd think she'd do anything she can not to resemble her in any way and it's hardly like she's just wore the same outfit as her which could be just a coincidence, it looks like she's copied quite a few things about the bad romance video.
May 2, 201015 yr What a slutty video. With Dirrty it was OK but it feels kinda wrong knowing she's mother of a child now.
May 2, 201015 yr I guess it was quite slutty, but it did suit the style of the song. I remember she said in a interview that becoming a mother has made her feel more sexy.
May 3, 201015 yr Who's to say that Lady GaGa hasn't been massively inspired by Christina Aguilera? I'm pretty sure her videos have. - hello 'Fighter' video.
May 3, 201015 yr i don't see how lady gaga was influenced by the fighter video, but i don't think the not myself tonight video bears any resemblance to bad romance either. the madonna inspiration is obvious though. i'm not sure what the message of this video is; it would be interesting to hear christina's explanation. why did she choose to be madonna tonight? :) actually it refers to the lyrics - kissing all the boys and girls, doing things that i normally won't do - and we all know madonna is the queen of pop/controversy/sexual expression and so on, so it actually does make sense. but why didn't she announce in advance that it would be a madonna-inspired material or that she wanted to make a trubite to madonna? i don't really understand... aesthetically, the video is beautifully done. christina is fierce and the outfits are interesting. i didn't like the product placement  Edited May 3, 201015 yr by Ina
May 3, 201015 yr I'm not saying Lady GaGa was influenced by the 'Fighter' video, I'm just making a point that Christina has before dressed differently and made excellent videos due to strange make-up/production before in her career.
