July 13, 201015 yr Well that's not fair. One flop doesn't ruin your whole career you know, it just sets you back. HR flopped because the single choices were terrible, the new look was unrecognisable and the sound was weak. She's sorting all of that out and is doing pre-promotion and taking a lot longer this time round to work on it. I have faith in her... You should too!
July 13, 201015 yr It all depends i guess in what she comes back with. I have faith but it has been dented quite alot, looking back HR was not the album i thought it was. ICFY is still orgasmic though

July 13, 201015 yr It is about the material. If the lead single is as amazing and powerful as IOL, PMD or LOA, she'll have the hit she deserves! She just shouldn't do drastic things, like she did with HR. Nobody recognized the woman! HR was mainly a flop because of the lead single. I reckon it was quite before it's time, that sound then is IN now, even if it is just dated & recycled but hey, that's what most songs sound like within the 21st century nowadays. Talking of HR, don't you think its beat sounds alot like Kelis' 'Acapella'?

But it wouldn't have been as good as it is if it wasn't for X. So maybe the next album from Ana will be spectacular because she knows what works and what doesn't. I hope so anyway. July 14, 201015 yr Well the killer tracks (HR, ICIL, Defeated) would be successful yes but there is nothing like them on the album and future singles would not guarantee a successful chart run, wrd of mouth would reveal that many tracks are not the same standard of the single. It would have got good first few weeks sales and a highish debut but i think it would fall fast. Singles would help a bit though.
July 15, 201015 yr Ahhhhhhh can't believe she's actually written and recorded the first song allready for the new album . :yahoo: The two Ne yo songs where rubbish . I've just been uploading my cds on to my new computer and it shows you who writes the songs . So starts with Anastacia CDs writer Anastacia, Anastacia every song come to the heavy Rotation Album and she only was involved in four . I can only imagine it was taken out of her hands by the new record company (Cos they know best of coarse ) she was perfect she did not need to change the formula . July 15, 201015 yr One sprock song written by Ana is worth 4 songs not written by her any day :D I can't wait to hear it. ICFY was good, AP was complete cack. According to my ipod, she had writing credits on 10 songs :unsure: The only songs that she did not help write were ICFY, AP and Heavy Rotation.
July 15, 201015 yr Author Very exciting news! New Album Update Anastacia was in the studio on May 7th & 15th to record the first song for her next album which was just finished the day before she got on the plane to England. There's the intention to release the song as first single also! Credit to Anastacia Fanclub So she's already finished one song in preparation for a 2011 album release. At least she's spending time on this album, instead of HR which was completed in 2 months.
