Released on friday? wow thats dumb, if Lady Gaga can only get to number 3 from a friday release, I don't know what wonderland are expecting tbh....

Judging by how baddly this has done in Ireland (where the airplay has been decent and they appear to have gotten some good high profile promo) then frankly this will barely impact here surely?

and i dont think there album will get a release going by how the single is performing, i think alot of money has been spent on them but it doesnt seem to be paying off at all.

I was about to say this has all gone a bit Girls Can't Catch for Wonderland, but even they managed a top20 single. It looks like they may end up being 2011's Dolly Rockers (without the personality)

They have had decent support, but this will not even break top 40! Girls Cant Catch were better imo.. Girlbands don't work.. thats two out of two who have failed with good support.

 

Parade and Soundgirl to still come weather they will flop!

I do like Not a Love Song, but I don't think it's anything special. They kinda seem like they've been modelled on Girls Aloud too

If the first single fails spectacularly in the UK its hard to know if they will even manage a 2nd single, poor jodie as girl thing didnt get to release a 2nd single either did they?

The thing is wonderland will easily get like a xfactor slot due to there managers!

Girl Thing released two songs 'Last One Standing' & 'Girls On Top'.

 

I deffinely think Wonderland will release the album regardless of how the singles do. It's been top 40 on the pre-order chart on Play and hasn't spent a day out of it, and it's not often in the 20's climbing higher.

 

Not a Love Song isn't the best song choice, I was happy a song they co-wrote was a single, but 'In Your Arms' should have been the first single, followed by 'Starlight'. NALS isn't really catchy enough to gain peoples attention, it's more 4th/5th single IMO. I'm not sure they are treating it as single anymore though, they seem to want the whole EP to do well and for it not to be cherry picked.

Is it chart eligiable? Its been around 30-40 in the albums and around 70s in the singles all week on itunes I find it hard to believe it's not sold enough.

I was suprised it didin't sell enough... must have just missed out on the top 100

It does seem strange that it missed out completely.

I'm pretty sure it must have been pulled it was doing too well on itunes not to have made the top 200 officially.

 

Anyway the album is up to #13 on plays pre-order chart which is a jump of #7 places from yesterday which I can only presume is because of their Alan Tichmarsh performance.
