she has jumped 35 places in three hours and is continuing to rise. she should be top 10 tomorrow.

Top 10? Lucky, if it gets top 30 by tomorrow. I think it'll peak at about #15-#20 on iTunes.

well your way off. she will be top 30 by midnight.

The way people talked about Stereo Love,I thought it will go straight to #1  Anyway, not big fan of that song, but it's not so bad either.

Attitude  I'm not bothering to argue anymore, as I can't be dragged down to this. This ends now.

20. Stereo Love (UK Radio Edit) - Edward Maya & Vika Jigulina (& #83, 659)

33. Crush (Radio Edit) - Fugative

43. Not Myself Tonight - Christina Aguilera (& #111)

173. One Touch (Radio Edit) - Mini Viva

333. Saviour - Lights

377. Crazy Possessive (Radio Edit) - Kaci Battaglia

481. Swoon (Radio Edit) - The Chemical Brothers

530. Each Tear - Mary J. Blige & Jay Sean

Edward Maya up to #20,

So funny he is #20 on UK & Ireland iTunes at the same time.

At this point, it doesn't look like a number 1 contender. Probably a top 10 contender only. :(

Finally one song makes top 20 at #20. 7:45pm.

I dont think it'll make top 10, maybe top 15 if lucky.

Oh well te amo, try sleeping with a broken heart, al night long, ridin solo are all kind of new tracks climbing in the top 20 so gives them a chance.

*Is missing more exciting chart years*

To be honest, I pretty like the way the songs are doing in the charts. The 2000 year style charts were TOO fast and it was relatively easy to get into the top-40. Now it's harder to get even into the top-100 which makes a higher peak much more respectable.

At the same time, it's not as stable as it used to be in 2008 and the first half of 2009 when we had loads of static top-10s. 'The golden middle' what it is and I like it. Not that I like all the stuff in the top-40 but it's not about the 'chart behaviour' of the songs.

total eclipse of the heart - glee is GREAT! I think it could be massive contender for top 20 at least, top 10 possibly.

The 2000 charts were only fast in the #1 exchange, the rest of the top40 was a great balance. Most songs peaked initially like most of the 90s and early 00s, but there were still climbers and long runners, which made them extra special at the time. The charts were given each week fresh new blood which made things a lot more interesting, and old songs were never too long in the charts like they are at the moment, which just makes me not wanna listen to them ever again, plus it's incredibly boring. 2008 and 2009 are not examples of "in the middle". Extremes of fast movement are 1997, 1998 and 2005 for example. 2000, 2001 and 2002 were middle years.

Hopefully this will be the year that the UK wakes up to Europe. Hopefully Stereo Love & Alors On Danse (Please Release) can join Hot & get a top 10 position, and then the second half of the year could give us some more Eurodance :D

Christina will be lucky to get top 20 without physicals, there is so much going on above her, at a push I say lower end of the top 30.
