I was thinking.. would it be worth it/fair to give the AC a chance too? Give one contest to experiment with, and a poll afterwards. Let's say if it turns out more people like this idea the most after experimenting with it - than with the one big final?

 

 

We were contemplating that a bit ago, but we weren't sure how many people were in favour. It generally seems to be that the people in favour of one big final are more passionate about the idea whilst those who prefer the AC idea are quite casual on it...

Indeed, a lot of the AC voters also gave a 'best of a bad bunch' type of comment to supplement their vote, whereas whilst the 'big final' idea had some strong resistance (Torchwood and Hendinia are leaving aren't they? :P), there were certainly some more passionate responses/arguments about why it would be a better idea.

The best part is from 1:10 - 2:00 though ^_^ Especially the chorus feeling sequence (there's not really a chorus in this, I think) at 1:37 - 2:00 :wub: :P

Hopefully a different version of the song leaks. Preferably HQ/CDQ.

Like countless others have said, you have TWO weeks and it's actually LESS listening if you relisten to songs that were in your semi that made it to the final. If not, it's like 10-20 more songs. You're being dramatic. Winning will still be just as awesome. Semis are suckypoopoodoodoo. I'm in college too, it's not like you're the only one who's has a stressful life.

 

I'm not being dramatic at all, I'm just saying how I feel about the whole thing.

 

I never said winning would be any less awesome anywhere in my last post, I just said that I'd miss the semis and yes I know other people have stressful lives, I was just indicating that I had one and it was my feeling that I should probably be trying to do more work and less contest stuff.

Well through my national thread I've narrowed down my possible entries to three - they are all by the one artist (a nine-member girl band to be specific) and one song is a mash-up with a demo that Ke$ha recorded. The only problem is, is that it is Korean pop :kink: Anyone who can be bothered to listen, it would be of great help to me to gather more opinions. If aynone wishes to see the official music video for 'Gee' (without subtitles), Run Devil Run (with subtitles and without Ke$ha featuring) and 'Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)' (without subtitles and a more cleare video) then they are available to watch in the New Caprica national thread: I didn't want to clog up the Green Room with loads of videos :)

This one's great, usually I'm a bigger fan of the Wondergirls than Girls' Generation but I really like this and would definitely give it some decent points!

 

 

I sent this about 18 months ago, unfortunately it flopped in the semi final :P. I didn't send the video version, cos that has three minutes of rubbish at the beginning.

The RTVN have decided to make public the four hopefuls for Rontvia's XXVI entry in Hendinia, including two former Rontvian entrants, and Utopia's act who came 2nd in IV with Pull Shapes behind FSR Rontvia's winning Love Song by Sara Bareilles.
