After watching Finland's rehearsal, I'm worried they won't make it through, it was all very reminiscent of Ishtar :( . Slovakia looking a lot stronger than in their NF though. Bosnia looking more likely to qualify too. Moldova surprisingly sound vocally perfect also.

TBH the stage look amazing :o

IMO it's one of the worst ESC stages in the new milenium :(

I mean, coming after the AMAZINGLY HUGE and beautiful Moscow stage it's a hard task and all, but still what they came up with is rather disapointing :/

are they rehearsing live? Serbia looked like they were lip-syncing to go through the number rather than vocals...

and i can't blame them. it looks VERY under-rehearsed. or they are just giving about 20% of effort, which is actually worse. i'd prefer them not singing live right now to giving half hearted performance in rehearsal

they are reheasring live of course.

the eurovision.tv videos are edited with the best sound rehearsal and video footage from different rehearsals so that's why it looks out of sync sometimes...

ok... i don't really care for Finnish song, but those backup dancer crack me up so much that i LOVE the performance

i wanna marry all of them NOW! well all the guys lol

i couldn't stop laughing watching them...

honestly, now that i think of it, i have no idea what else is going on on the stage during that performance lol

I'm SO tempted to watch Työlki Ellää rehearsal you have no idea :( But i won't.

I'm having a terribly strong desire to actually get to perform on Eurovision. LOL. :'(

Tell me about it. I'm definitely entering next year

Anyway, Belgium's rehearsal was STUNNING. So simple but so effective. People are saying potential winner :o

TOM PRIDE

I was just watching Estonia's rehearsal in the hope that I might see something redeeming in the song, unfortunately I didn't but I did leave with the impression that Malcolm is Alan Partrige's long lost brother...

wow Belarusians can sing... i was this >< close to not expecting them to be good live

i wish they had done a pretty light show... does anyone know? are the first rehearsals final and nothing ever will be added or is it not yet set in stone?

i like the lights at the crescendo of one of the last choruses and dresses seem like they would play in light nicely...i just wish they used more tiny lights... A LOT of them...

did i miss the "wings" they talked about? i see that there is smth on the skirt of a dress, but i din't see it rising... (ok that came out with potential of being kinky lol)

Judging by the rehearsals so far from Semi Final 2, Denmark is going to be the unfortunate fan favourite that doesn't qualify. A completely lifeless and boring performance. Anna Bergendahl has certainly improved vocally, as has Safura.

yes Safura suprised me with her vocals! she hjad the best rehearsal of the day IMO.

I also liked Sweden and Armenia! see them as sure qualifiers now!

I still like Denmark, and I can see them improving til the next rehearsal!

expected more from Israel! they also need to imrpove a bit...

Can we write off Denmark now pls? :kink:

Today:

Ukraine >>>>>> Sweden >> Switzerland >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> everyone else.

Israel and Denmark are definitely looking dodgy as far as qualification is concerned. There are so many slower paced songs at the start and they both don't stand out as much as Azerbaijan and Sweden will.
Ireland will start rehearsing in a minute. Can't wait to see how it goes. :cheer:

I don't see Denmark missing the final but I have even less confidence in them winning now having seen the rehearsal than before! I must be missing exactly why it's such an overwhelming fan favourite as well...Fame's Give Me Your Love was a similar concept with a song that I preferred but it's hardly one of Sweden's finest moments. I just think this would be the most ridiculously pedestrian winner personally.

It just comes across as an average pop song in the rehearsal, they're not giving it the power it needs to stand out more.

Apparently the Irish rehearsal was really good. Stage was green, and then orange, and then red or something. Dry ice and wind machines, too. :P
