I've always been keen on Mcfly. Well their first two albums at least. 'Not Alone' really should have been released :( 'Here Comes The Storm' sounds bloody good. Looking forward to hearing more stuff! :o

Just added another song. I'm sure the band wont be happy at all that 3 (or maybe 4!) songs have already leaked.

I just listened to Here Comes the Storm again, but this time wearing earphones rather than with my silly laptop speakers, and it sounded a lot better as could hear the bass and stuff more. Its really grown on me.

'Here Comes The Storm' is blatantly not McFly, although I do like it. :)

It's exactly what I thought when I heard this demo and Hotel On A Hill one. To be honest,

I'm not so keen on this topic, I don't think McFly would appreciate that leaked songs are here, even though they seem to have a positive response. I didn't listen none of them, except those 2 I've mention, simply because I've waited for too long to blow up this like that and not have a feeling of surprise when I actually hear the album versions. Plus, some of the songs might not be for McFly themselves as they are working on different 'secret projects' as they call it. So I don't wanna be misled by synthetized rough demos that I might not like.

I am amazed by indecency of some so-called fans who hacked Mcfly accounts and leaked them. I don't blame any of the those who watched it here neither Sasha2 who posted, I'm just appalled at those people who actually upload it in the internet just to draw attention to themselves.

Can't wait for the album! I'm surprised so many people are saying they didn't like Radio:Active, i think it might even be my favourite McFly album! As usual, they just released the wrong singles off it  hopefully they'll get it right with the new album, will be interesting to hear how different it sounds, especially with Dallas and Taio working on it.

Well, apparently, there won't be single called Here Comes The Storm, it was just fans' missunderstanding. The new single is called Party Girl (sounds very POPish imo, in a modern way ^_^ ), and it's out September 6th, according to the guys themselves. RockFM radio and InDemand radio are rumoured to give a song preview today at 7 PM.

It's also been said that on Tuesday there's going to be some press event for McFly, where they may reveal some secrets they've been keeping for almost a year. I really hope after that we will have much more information that is proved by McFly themselves. :)

does anyone actually care for them anymore?

Surely JLS have filled the void in the teenage girl market; McFly aren't needed anymore tbh.

Although they were miles better than JLS are now.

they still have about 10000 or so hardcore fans I should think and given the right material they could do well again, although the album will most probably do nothing the single should do well.

I kinda agree. I used to dispise their last efforts, but oh well they were nothing as bad as JLS.

Haha, it turns funny direction, JLS MAY actually be useful at anything - you get to find out McFly aren't that bad afterall! :)

As for people not caring for McFly and them being off market nowadays, I highly disagree. Maybe in this particular forum, where sales say almost everything about an artist, McFly are not that popular, but musically I think they will be in demand for much longer time than some might think. I prefere to listen good quality music, which is McFly for me and so do many people. I'm afraid I'm not so keen on the direction the pop music has taken recently, and the big sales is not an excuse for my ears.

Anyway, I think we'll have to wait and see (or hear xD) whether McFly are needed or not. You might even change your mind after you see their comeback:) Because they are coming back very soon:)

Their brand new single Party Girl - produced by Dallas Austin - is a real change in direction. Very GaGa-esque.

And they're releasing a Taio Cruz-produced track called Shine a Light as second single. It's a real hit in waiting as well.

Fans might be a bit surprised because it's a real change in direction but the lads are focussed (and very buff at the moment too).
