All Night Long shoots straight to the top of the multichart this week, and in combination with top 10 placings on sales and airplay, she does the double and goes to #1 here! Roll Deep also get a new peak at #2, and Kelis is going nowhere at #3, but Diana flies down to #5. Gaga & Beyo's Telephone gets it's 20th week in the chart holding on at #7, and Taio Cruz's Dirty Picture outpeaks it's sales position at #8. Alicia Keys gets her fourth top 10 this era with the beautiful Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart that climbs to #10. Up 12 to #11 is another of Buzzjack's favourites, Rihanna with the latin sounding Te Amo, followed by another big climber at #12, Jason Derulo with the currently rather flopping on airplay and multichart Ridin' Solo. Our highest climber this week is Christina Aguilera's new track which is up 23 places to #16. Our highest new entry comes in at #18 from the European smash Stereo Love by Edward Maya. Fyfe Dangerfield's Billy Joel cover is up 12 places to round off the top 20. B.o.B.'s debut track Nothin' On You climbs three places to #21 this week, could he be number one next week? On sales it's pretty much inevitable, but here, who knows? Further new entries come from Glee Cast at #22, Biffy Clyro unexpectedly high at #23, and #26 is Ellie Goulding's third Hot 40 hit Guns And Horses frollowing on from the #2 smash Starry Eyed. Owl City get a new peak at #28 with Umbrella Beach, which will probably be much higher than they'll ever get on sales... At #31 is the first Hot 40 hit for both Canadian rapper K'Naan and the established UK rock band Keane, with Stop For A Minute. Expect to see K'Naan's debut solo hit Wavin' Flag here in a few weeks. And one more new entry comes from another established act getting a #34 debut with The Flood, Katie Melua. See the video if you haven't, it's really something to behold :kink: So who will be number 1 next week? Come back next monday and we will reveal all :cheer:
May 18, 201015 yr Great commentary, but a couple of mistakes: Taio Cruz's Dirty Picture outpeaks it's sales position at #8 'Dirty Picture' peaked at #6 on sales last week. :P At #31 is the first Hot 40 hit for both Canadian rapper K'Naan and the established UK rock band Keane, with Stop For A Minute. Expect to see K'Naan's debut solo hit Wavin' Flag here in a few weeks. K'Naan is Somalian AFAIK. :P Other than that, fantastic! :D
May 18, 201015 yr Author Expect Diana drop a lot next week with the drop in the officials. True, but this is based on Sunday's chart data, it's just that she still is doing really well on airplay and multichart.
May 18, 201015 yr Yep, the buzzjack/airplay love is milding a bit a fall for Diana, she was #1 for three weeks after all because of it! But the hype is over, and I expect slumps in all 3 charts, or at least 2 of them hence the slump here.
May 18, 201015 yr Author Yes, you're probably right. I expect it to be just outside the top 10, maybe about #13.
