Posted May 19, 201015 yr Someone mentioning September's album in another thread made me wonder - up until recently albums that didn't have a physical copy were banned from the chart and I'm pretty sure that, despite downloaded album sales still being fairly low, some of these would have charted. The first one that sprang to mind was Noel Gallagher's "The Dreams We Have As Children" which was a live recording and was #1 on the iTunes chart for about a week. This would have charted decently if had been elligible would it not?

This would have charted decently if had been elligible would it not? I'd assume so, though I wouldn't like to guess *where*, since downloads still only make up about 15% of the album market.
