Makes a difference as far as the law is concerned..... -_-

My issue is not really with whether or not Tony Marting protected himself, it is the illegal methods by which he went about it... As a farmer he could have obtained a licence for a 12-gauge shotgun, he CHOSE to go down an illegal path and contribute to the illegal arms trade which is responsible for incalculable death and misery on the streets of our towns and cities.... HE is just as big a scumbag as the pikeys he shot as far as I'm concerned because he's contributing to organised crime and criminal gangs who prey on innocents....

funny isnt it, you side with the law on this, yet ignore the law when it comes to the legitimacy of the bnp... <_<

theres NO way that tony martin can be aligned with the illegal firearms trade... he is a farmer, he had a gun which like i suspect many farmers, had before the requirement to register it. it was for use on his own property...a sprawling farm in the middle of nowhere. to liken that to inner city gun crime if ridiculous.

I followed that case and to me it seems like Martin lay-in-wait ... almost hoping for someone to come along and be shot. Added to this ... after he shot the guy ... he is supposed to have gone round to a friend's house as if nothing had happened. He'd successfully thwarted the attempts at a robbery and he should have called the police straight away ... maybe then his claims of 'self-defence' would have been believed.

Most cases of people protecting their homes (and in the process injuring/killing a villain) I am firmly on the side of the protector. In Martin's case though ... he was guilty - plain and simple - the law got it right ... he was correctly prosecuted.

the bottom line is for me..... that pikey scumbag should never have been there, he drove from newark with the sole intention of robbing tony martin...no other reason. it may be harsh justice but he got what he deserved whether or not tony martin really was laying in wait. i sympathise with tony martin, as someone who has had thousands of pounds worth stolen from me and the police doing jack $h!t, in tony martins case i can fully understand why he did it.

i remain 100% behind tony martin.
